      Happy Go Travel what mods does it have? Does it have a rear locker?

    • @HappyGoTravel
      @HappyGoTravel  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s changed a little since this vid. It’s back on 33’s again. Yeah it’s a rear locked and well protected.

    Hey thanks for the info about the tracks you do👍🏽
    Done this track yesterday but never came across the uphill rock climb from 3min onwards in the vid??? Started at the same entry as you and finished back on Prickly Ridge road.. Is there a turn off while on the track? Thanks for any info🤙🏽

      Thanks mate, yeah there are two lines the one you would have taken goes around the back and avoids the bog holes and rock steps. not far in to the track it peels off to the right. that'll take you the same way

    They both go pretty well. Which one goes better? think the Nav does, but not sure.

      They both have there advantages. The Nav definitly has the edge being twin locked, 4 inch lift and 33"s. The Fortuner has rear locker 3" lift and 32"s the shorter wheel base helps to. the biggest difference is the Nav is auto so our driving styles are very different. Generally speaking the Nav does things easier.

      @@HappyGoTravel I wanna know everything about the fortuna is the rear locker standard? Any problems with the 3" lift - legally speaking and how come you've settled for 32". Love watching the action, but I get concerned at times. You guys look like you took some risks with the photography, it looked like someone was filming on the roof and another sandwiched between a vehicle and hard earth in the gully...take care!

      OK, found your website and all info about the vehicle is there. For others the link is happygotravel.com.au/our-4wd-what-makes-it-a-capable-4wd/

      @benny banger technically speaking 3” is to high but how it sits doesn’t raise any eyebrows. I went back to 32’s power wise when towing. I’ve done a few things power wise since and will be going back to 33’s. There was a bit of cutting to get them to work. With filming there was more room in the trench than it appears as for over roof we have a special tool for that. Diff lock is standard in the Fortuner

      @@HappyGoTravel Excellent - thanks for the detailed reply. Surprised you noticed the 1" smaller tyres from a power perspective - will keep this in the back of my mind!! Small details like this makes all the difference. Cheers!
