Forty years ago the Pakistan government declared the minority Ahmadiya religious sect to be non-muslim, resulting in Ahmadis being subjected to sectarian attacks and further persecution. BBC Urdu's Nosheen Abbas reports from the all-Ahmadi town of Rabwah in rural Punjab - one of the few places in Pakistan where they are not marginalised.

Ahmdees are non muslims, they should be barred to show them as Muslims. Ahmadees are residing in different cities of Pakistan and incidents of violence against them are scarce. This program is exaggerating the actual state of affairs. Not a single person has been given capital punishment under 295-c in Pakistan and compared to India minorities are living in peace in Pakistan.

Since Mirza Ghulam is none other than Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) himself, therefore when an Ahmadi recites KALIMA TAYYEBAH, by Muhammadur Rasoolullah he means Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani.

Nope, Pakistan established a very basic fact. Ahmadi's are non-muslim because they are Jahil's, similar to Sajah, the false prophetess in the time of the holy prophet. If there is no need for anymore prophet, then why Hazrat Muhammad pbuh. said in one of his sayings(hadees) that an imam mahdi will come in the later days...your imam will be from among you...and Prophet said 4 time,,he will be nabi.
the meaning of last nabi is that Prophet Muhammad pbuh is the last law bearing prophet and no prophet with any new law(shariat) can come. He never said that there is no prophethood after me.
Prophet also said on another occasion that my mosque is the last mosque... but we see that mosques are being built all around the world..
"khatam" is an arabic word, we should not mix it with urdu...it means Seal, not last. So Muhammad pbuh is the Seal of Prophethood, His teaching (shariat/Quran) is the last law...any prophet who comes will be His subordinate, who will follow and spread His teaching/shariat/quran.

I don't understand why Ahmadis are prosecuted. They are still humans, they do not deserve such hatred. If you think about it what have they done to this world to deserve such hatred. I have been to Rabawah many times it's an amazing city and my relatives are living there although we all are Sunni Muslims :) to me they are our equals and there should be no discrimination against them. mullahs should be controlled and our constitution should be made secular so that even non-Muslims may feel safe to live in Pakistan.

I think BBC Urdu is also supporting Ahmadi community through such reporting. Their sweet and soft speaking style is a strong try to convince unknown muslims that ahmadis are so innocent and they have to be secured.
