midgint Forming Prussia as Brandenburg is EASY, not POSSIBLE. Ally Austria, Poland, Bohemia, retake Neumark, vassalize Pomerania, Mecklenburg and other German minors (in order to avoid unlawful imperial teritory relationship malus), ally Sweden and strike at Poland when they are weak (in early-to-mid game they really fuck up). Try forming Prussia as Teutons.
TomegSzwab Try doing anything as Teutons more like. I played as them and it was either war with Poland and Lithuania or else war with half of the HRE. Tried a war against Livonian Order... next thing I know I have Muscovy knocking on my door.
fattyMcGee97 If you form an alliance with Austria, give Neumark back to Brandenburg and join the HRE then it is possible. Getting Sweden as an ally would be the next step. Vassalizing Pomerania is the next. Challenging, but possible.
I had Sweden as an ally but Muscovy had almost blobbed into Russia by this point so I just decided to try and keep them on my good side and went and joined in with colonial expeditions in North America (part of why sweden was my ally as they were almost able to form Scandinavia and fully controlled the straight of Kattegat) :3

Might be huge projection coming from me, but everytime I come back to listen to some of these EU4 tracks with more "peaceful" and melancolic tones and endings, I feel a mixture of both peace, grief, bitterness, determination, hatred, hope, disappointment and regret... some form of sadness, yet strength to move forward partially fueled by a bittersweet sensation and feelings of peaceful and controlled hatred, a feeling in which I gave up all my hopes for one dream or goal and now have nothing else left to do but to follow the opposite direction and follow a tragic and harsh path of self-destruction in the hopes that something better comes out of the ashes of something I was supposed to value the most while saying "goodbye" to it for the last time and wish for it to rest in eternal peace. All of this based on my feelings towards one single country.

+HoneyDane Extended Timeline holy shit
+HoneyDane Lol no, try playing Yamato (from the first start date of Extended timeline mod, forming Japan conquering north and south of Han as fast as possible then taking on big bad bully Han....then cultural change everything to Japanese and Animist :) One culture/one religion :)
Luke Haddad i did that after posting this and in 200 ad i had a huge japanese empire whith an army just about 10k smaller than han xD I had expanded into modern day vietnam through warfare and vassalization same goes for korea, from there on into thailand and mongolia, real fun, but sadly i lost the savefile ;(
+HoneyDane yeah the damn file got corrupted and I screamed, "Noooooo....all my work to make Japan leader of Asia!!"
+HoneyDane No, no and no. Best mod: Third Odessey Back to the Homeland, and best country in that mod: SPARTAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PRUSSIA STRONK! (Well, when played by a human,A.I usually fucks it up)
midgint Forming Prussia as Brandenburg is EASY, not POSSIBLE.
***** I love the fact that you have to be Protestant. I hate being a Catholic nation, basically no bonuses. :|
I've got this on whilst watching jet liners landing in crosswinds - epic! :)
Andreas Waldetoft is just a genius.
Waldetoft makes absolutely outstanding soundtracks....
Firstly revealed him for myself by listening "Stellaris" and "Crusader Kings II"..
At 59:27 they made a spelling mistake, it says "The Age of Dsicovery" Literally un-listenable
One day 50 years from now ima hear this again and reminisce on my childhood
Same man

Polish-Lithuanian Federation.
You are my soul,
you are my heart,
you are my dream,
you are my love.
For you are the only democratically elected federation in the middle age covered by the shadow of autocracy.
Your glory, derived from your protection of individual rights of nobles, small or big, rich or poor, and your power, underpinned by the volunteered warriors of your cavalries, would shine through centuries, overcome the invasion of the autocratic Sweden and the greed of Tzar.
We believe in our king for his legitimacy derived from our votes. We will expand and prosper, for we are a united people in diversity, with the supreme strength by our freedom and volunteered spirit.
Long live Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth!
Chen Alex Nope. Polan stronk alon.
Chen Alex *Cough* Netherlands *Cough*
Einherjar Viking LoL Netherlands vs PLC? Hahah, poor Netherlands. Know your place : P
1000razyja I was reffering to the PLC not being the only democratically electing nation at the time.
Einherjar Viking Neitherland appeared a bit later though. It did not exists in the middle age
All the soundtrack is gorgeous but Sound of Summer 01:07:27 is the best for me

So many hours spent on this game. Re-listening makes me so nostalgic. What a great game it is. Except when ottomans attacks you early.
we all listened this soundtrack so many times.
*Hears "Ride Forth Victoriously"*
-Why do I feel the urge to go alone conquering some city-states right now ?
51:41 You're all welcome.

Pov: Main menu just loaded and you get goosebumps
Played Eu almost everyday for 3 months or so, stopped because i was spending way too much time on games... Now I only have this stunning soundtrack to listen too. Gives me such a nostalgic feeling... (I never really listened to the soundtrack when I was playing)
am I the only one that finds this playlist short? Or maybe it's because I play this game for hours??
It's because you play the game for hours. It feels like I hear the same song every ten minutes but NOPE, it's actually 1am now.
Great soundtracks for one of the best games ever in my opinion.
GOTLAND STRONK!
Amazing OST! "Land in sight" is so beautiful...
Battle of Lepanto: naval battle fight between the Liga Santa, of Spain, and the Ottoman Empire. Spain win. Ended the naval expansion of the ottomans

Kenneth Dinkleburg Well that doesn't seem so *spots Ulm* FUCK RUN RUN
Kenneth Dinkleburg I like those odds.
when every my bro is in the room and hears the music to eu4 he always says "it sounds like elder scrolls music."
This soundtrack makes we want to sail over to Istanbul and plant a Byzantine flag on its walls.
I'd probably get shanked by a homeless person
as a turkish, it's more likely you will get stabbed by a drunk lmao
@@parallellia1509 i remember I tried to walk on the Theodosian walls. Met some homeless people that wanted money. But that was only one section of it. Maybe there's a walkable section?
28:07 King's Court 💙
Señor, también tengo los mismo sentimientos que usted.
We need some music for Asia too
which part
There may be a reason it's called EUROPA universalis but I'm probably pulling at straws
Once I complete my glorious Crusader Kings 2 campaign of utter domination of India, I shall bring my family through to EU IV and shall rinse and repeat that domination :)
