@@GM-xk1nwModern military? It probably is nowadays with MANPDS and AA systems. It is not useless against an enemy with no AA systems like the Taliban, it’s a great CAS system.
My experience with an Abrams in a real war zone, was the driver breaking his track on a curb in Baghdad. He didn't bring his tools with him, and we had to spend hours next to a building known for insurgent activity.

My father got deployed many times when i was in my "kid years"(11ish yrs & under) thatbut was already really weird/hard for me to comprehend that my dad was actually out there active on the battlefield & not just in a office somewhere! Here we clearly see the difference between CoD tacticool mission with vehicles and tanks moving like the are glued together versus Battlefield more realistic approach with tanks moving in a more spaced out formation

Damn do tracks break that easily or was the driver experiencing an highly unusual amount of bad luck?
@@emmeriankiwi6993 probably both. Tracks don't normally break easily but they can if you hit something (like a curb) hard enough.
