*Notes:-* - I intentionally omitted that Zurvan saw Dainsleif coming out of the Tunigi Hollow while clutching a Ring to his chest. This is an entire topic on its own and wasn't worth getting into here (as it would add ~10 minutes to the video). - In this video, I assume that Rerir is a man since that's what he is in Norse Mythology (and it plays a big role in his story since he dies and his wife gives birth to Völsung). However, nothing is stopping Rerir from being a woman in Genshin. - The Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah are most likely inspired by The God Hand from Breserk (Five Fingers who serve the Idea of Evil, God of the Abyss). Berserk features the Eclipse in a very prominent role, further supplementing Rerir's relationship with it in Genshin. - Kaeya coinflipping his lucky Mora coin might be him taunting us with a reference to Alberich's Golden Ring (since Mora comes from Morax and it is Gold). *Corrections:-* - When I talked about the status of the House of Alberich within Khaenri'ah, I referred to them are "Royalty". I should have used the word "Nobility" instead as it is far more appropriate.
Well....I'll make a parenthesis. It's interesting the part where you say: the sundial is marked based on the position of the "shadow". The time, or people's destiny was defined in relation to 3 shadows of Pahnes, who were to pass the kingdom to each other... And I say again, birth, growth and death. Istaroth must have wanted to give the authority to the Kaenrians over their lives, so that the gods would no longer interfere. The fight between the three moons was motivated because one failed to pass the kingdom to the other... Would this be the "power of the eclipse", or, the authority of time? Would Istaroth have handed over the Eclipse Dynasty, and Asmodeus, being the representative of the Crimson Moon Dynasty, saw this as a betrayal that motivated the fight between them? The authority of time controlled by the goddesses, wouldn't it be "fortune", or "fate"? And they wish to create the loom of fate again?
I think Rerir "might" be a woman. The 3 star weapon "Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers" tells us a fictional story of a band of five heroes who go off on a dragon hunt and each of them have different reasons to hunt it: For honor, the master swordsman. For research, the knowledgeable sorceress. For bounty, the swashbuckling mercenary. For vengeance, the deadeye marksman. For stories, the grand novelist. The sorceress could be Rhinedottir and the deadeye marksman could be Rerir. I play my game in french and the deadeye marksman is female, same for spanish and portuguese. But still, I might be wrong and Rerir would be male.
Kaeya coin flipping is an irony bc of the fact that Mora is identical on its both sides, it's likely a foreshadowing of his future choice between Mondstadt or Khaenri'ah, that apparently may go into a war (well, perhaps bc of the 'ring')
@@sajindahal790 I know that Chinese myth have a lot of compl x interweaving between stories. I suspect they just created concepts and then added the lore to it. From there they used existing mythos to expand their lore. Add on top they have some really strong writing teams. One team working in the grand overarching story. Another working on the finer details etc... either that or have couple of people really really high.
@@navi2710 Yeah, it also feels like genshin was somewhat of a concept even at the beginning of mihoyo. Many years later, they figured out how to execute on it. It has been in development since around 2017, so they had a lot of time to do their research.
They likely had an idea, then researched mythical and historical concepts that fit with their general storyline, and adapted and evolved those concepts from there. The first official character they created was Xiao, and Cai Haoyu mentioned that they developed the Archon War to give him lore. The Archon War later helped establish characters like Orobashi and Raiden. Nibelung is very, very likely to be a mixture of a Chinese Azure Dragon and a Germanic/Nordic Dragon.
27:09 I would also like to add that Rukkhadevata and Kusanali are both likened to birds allegorically multiple times in the game. The depth of influence that the Angel's Egg has on Genshin is truly impressive!
This actually makes a lot of sense considering that both of the Ancient Dragon Sovereigns we know (Apep and Neuvillette) use Rings in their animations and have heavy Ring motifs in their designs. As for the Geo Dragon... Well, Azhdaha doesn't have Rings but Morax does which makes Zhongli even more Sus than he already is...
@@The_Painful_Realist gave me the proof. Azdaha is only stated to be vishap lord and this tittle is also shared by another dragon, vishap lord skcyla( the dragon from remuria world quest) Devalin is only stated to be elementel dragon born in heaven.
And just like that, Rerir went from the bottom of the list to the Sinner I am looking forward to the most in Genshin. You are really good at hyping characters up btw.
If you think a little bit deeper about the influence of "The Ring of the Nibelung" on Genshin you can see that this influence spreads further than just on an ingame story. I mean, the way Wagner structured the musical part of the piece (using same musical themes and then just modifying them to fit the character, the event, the mood etc.) is nowadays called "leitmotif". And you know what, there is a lot of leitmotifs in Genshin's musical storytelling. There's even a leitmotif of the whole Teyvat that we can hear in battle themes, character demos and so on
Very pleasing to know that the writers seem to be keenly aware of Wagner’s works, just goes to show how much of an influence and force of nature Wagner really was and still is
You mean Photon of fluctuation, found in every fight theme, and in most, if not, all the Mondstadt characters demos, as hightlighted in BranOnline's video avout Genshin msuic in his Mondstadt section?
@@clemente3966 "Photon" is a prominent example but not the only one. There're many other examples of using leitmotif in Genshin's storytelling in one way or another. Like if they want to make an emphasis on a character they usually use their leitmotif in a cutscene music. Yoimiya's second SQ cutscene and Fontaine AQ cutscene with Childe fighting in the court are the examples of such. As for environmental storytelling and leitmotif there're such pieces as "Dance of Scorpions" and "Golden Crescent". The day and night themes of the Realm of Farakhkert (the deseret area with pari). They follow the same motif (let's call it the Farakhkert motif) but are different in mood. Like "Dance of Scorpions" is more lively and cheerful though mysterious as if saying that the dessert maybe dangerous but not now, now it's just a calm place with no one to interrupt your journey. "Golden Crescent" is on opposite. It's sad, very mysterious and in some kind depressing. As if saying that in this night you're all alone on your journey and there's no one for you besides these endless sands. There're way more examples than just one Farakhert motif. This is the one that came to my mind
@@sen_sui888 I mean, you mentioned A leitmotif used in battle themes AND character demos. I think I've only heard Photon being used in both instances. Maybe I'm wrong, but for now, the only thing coming close to it is the leitmotif used in Nilou's demo that is also used when she ends the Samsaras.
You are right actually, this makes sense. I can't believe I forgot about her when she used to have a Crimson Moon behind her. Raiden is definitely a strong candidate.
@@Aiden-iy9du Wouldn't she have it considering Ei saw her sister die in Khaenri'ah & she was deep in her grief from it when she was creating the Shogun puppet alongside the Plane of Euthymia? The cataclysm had such a deep lasting impact on her
@@Aiden-iy9dusomething sus about raiden that has never been really addressed in game is that she was embedding all of the confiscated visions into the wings on a statue of istaroth, so that could be the missing piece linking raiden to the crimson moon if she is loyal to her.
Therefore, we now know that the Almighty God of Events Arataki "Live long an Prosper, Crimson Oni Pepperoni, He Might Lose but He'll Never Admit Defeatto" Itto is also a moon Sister because he shares a birthday with Paimon. That's why he's involved in a lot of Story quests despite being basically a rando in Teyvat. And because he and Paim-oni are the only silver-moon-white haired characters (others have shades of blue or blonde. In-game too.), that could make them the reincarnation of the two of Three Moon Sisters. He'd be the Crimson Mooni. But Arlecchino also has silver-moon white hair, so that wouldn't work... unless!! There are three moon sisters, Aria, Sonnet and Canon. Those names are related to music and each has its own meaning. Aria is "a self contained musical piece for one voice". AKA a song with one singer, part of a bigger musical composition. Sonnet is a *fixed verse* poem/song. AKA "following rules". Canon is a *contrapuntal* (counterpoint) musical piece composed of repeating the same melody layered on top of itself. Usually to note the contrapoints within the melody and sound cool while doing it. So Paimon's quest with the Traveler and her function is akin to the main singer of an Aria, as one could say that the story is not told through the eyes of the Traveler, but through Paimon's. Single piece of story, part of a bigger story. Furthermore "Aria" comes from the greek word for "Air". And the Thousand Winds, Ishtar controls time, and so does Paimon like many have pointed out. And her eyes are deep dark blue, like an Eclipse. Another silver-moon-haired character we know that loves them rules or "Principles" is the Unknown God. And her eyes are golden, like the Full Moon. And oddly enough, Itto and Arlecchino are both linked to the Crimson color, have Crimson eyes and both just so happen to have very different personalities to the ones vision holders of the same element have. As if when paired with the vision holders of said elements it's easier to notice the differences so then you can more accurately pinpoint what they have in common: the essence of their Element. Therefore, Canon could be very easily be incarnated (not reincarnated) in infinitely many characters. Likely vision holders with silver hair, red eyes and attitudes one would not expect to match their element. Guys, i'm no longer cooking. I'm baking. ☁🥴🚬🔥☁
12:03 Durin was also a prominent Dwarf in the LOTR, who tried to reclaim Moria, after the events of the Hobbit. JRR Tolkiens LOTR was also heavily influenced by Der Ring des Nibelungen. I also found a couple of LOTR Easter Eggs in Simulanka. :)
Durin was the one who founded Moria way before the events of the Hobbit. The Barlog did kill his descendant, Durin IV, when it took over Moria. Thror, from the line of Durin, Thorin's grandfather, tried to reclaim Moria BEFORE the events of the Hobbit, but failed. After the events of the Hobbit, but before the events of the LOTR series, a group of Dwarves led by Balin, one of the members of Thorin's company, tried to recolonize Moria but but they were eventually killed. Durin is still an important figure tho, and his descendants had a ring of power.
You literally create the best lore / theory videos in the entire Genshin fandom 🔥👏 The fact that you have knowledge of all the relevant previous / current Hoyoverse games + From Software’s influential titles *AND* the Ring Cycle Operas + the Angel’s Egg film is so refreshing - EVERYTHING from the Genshin lore community is made better by your work 👌
I love how you made the parallels between the OVA and the Simulanka world structure when Simulanka is just a reflection of Teyvat itself. Being the forest of blessings where we explore now, the constellation metropole being Celestia and the broken sea being Khaenriah. The parallels are really nice to think of when you remember the forest was withering just like the tayvat has problems with forbidden knowledge. Then the fight from those against and pro fate in the constellation metropole, how the "part" of the king was actually taken by a female character, probably meant to be the sustainer taking the role of the primordial. And how we brought a moon to the sky in the end of the world by making a wish to the three goddess... Funny thing that the traveller ends up NOT being the hero there so I wonder if who plays the part of scaramouche in Teyvat is Dainslief (hence the sword and all) or if it goes deeper than that, but probably really means that mini Durin would be Nibelung. Damn, now I feel the urge to play through the quest again just to keep a close watch on the characters around...
Btw, I still remember your comment about Tears of Themis. Haven't had enough time to research it yet, but I might discuss that game in the future because it has some cool themes.
@@DragonMJEomg there's no way, you have an impressive memory. 😂 Unfortunately I had to stop playing ToT for a while for lack of time but everytime I watch your videos I always remember that. Tears of Themis is full of tiny little hints, maybe I'll go back to it to catch up on the reading. Thanks for answering!!!
I don't normally comment cus I got nothing to contribute but wanna say thank you for your transparency in what you know and don't know and your dedication to clean and understandable theories, as well as input relevant information from the sources of Genshin's inspirations. Your videos are very enlightening to watch and listen to
damn sick theory actually, the Paimon section blew me away with 61 and reference to flyme2themoon now i want to add to this theory in a different way, not sure if u have mentioned this in full before but i think u at least agree that Oceanids are representing Seelies in the story to foreshadow Seelies. Melusines were made from Elynas's corpse and it is highly theorized by people(i think including you) that Oceanids might have been born from Original Hydro Sovereign's corpse - "lizard's bones dissolved from which the swans emerged". so if Oceanids = Seelies then Hydro Sovereign = Nibelung, so Seelies would be created from Nibelung. and if that's the case...then wouldn't that make Khaenrians transformed Seelies by some power? or at the very least "human version of Seelies" in some way? maybe descendants of the Seelie and an Outlander from that story. either one of those two or maybe some other third possibility, basically anything goes as long as it fits with "human version of Seelies"
I personally have a theoru that istaroth is a cecilia expy, based on ventis relation with cecilia flowers, and him being one of the thousand winds I also believe the moon sisters are kiana aka sustainer, durandal, and sirin Another theory is the shades of life and death being seele and veliona for obvious reasons, also explaining why egeria has similaries to seele as she was basically the daughters of the shade of life
In addition cecilia is one of the few hi3 characters that is a mother, she weilded the abyssal flower which has assosiations with life and death, so if you stretch it a bit it can be linked to fertility which is what ishtar is the goddess of, for the war part it is quite obvious she was THE valkery of her time. This also ties in with Astaroth being an incarnation of death. In addition the schariac bloodline has healing abilities which is one more interesting tidbit
This guy is physically incapable of making a video without mentioning Zhongli in it in some way... Literally, every theory has at least 1 Zhongli mention.
'Maintaining the purity of their bloodline, in the context of Teyvat this wouldn't really makes sense unless their blood have some major property to it.' My mind is blown. Kaeya has a constellation called 'Excellent Blood". In the context of what myname is talking about, this would make Kaeya a distant descendant of Nibelung, and the Seelies. There is also another Kaeya lore video on TH-cam which connects him with seelies/angels.
I grew up with Greek & Norse mythology along with anime like Harlock (which also uses Wagner). I've been meaning to get to the Angel's Egg because I know a lot of Souls and Bloodborne players. Guess I better get on that before 5.0. Keep Cooking!
11:19 the Alberichs weren't of royal blood at all, they took rule over Khaenri'ah after something happened to Irmin. We can read about it in a few notes scattered in the big Field tiller in Sumeru desert.
This is 100% wrong. Alberich was a royal bloodline in Khaenri'ah, it's a fact, not a theory. Many of them were nobles and held high positions in the Kingdom. Chlothar was a member of the family and they denied him from marrying a woman outside of the other Khaenri'ahn Royalties. You need to look up what "Royal Blood" actually means because it isn't what you think it is. You don't have to be a descendant of the King/Queen to be a royal/noble family with high status.
@@ShirouE Still interesting how the game decided to make Alberich claiming that they don't have royal blood. Yes, it could be mean that they're just denying their nobility. And I always read it as Alberich is not related to Irmin by blood or something.
This is probably related to the loom of fate that Clothar is familiar with before he turns his own son into one. But if he knew of the concept before, implies that it's not the first time therefore the Alberichs are the royal bloodline within the new timeline this is probably I am guessing one of the many messed up events in Genshin that the traveller has to somehow fix. Since Istaorth died or went absent after whatever they did in Khaenri'ah the past and the future exist within the same timeline (Ei's Sakura tree, Nahida etc) Kaeya is the destined king of Khaenri'ah according to the new timeline but he also seem to suspect / know that it is not the truth, his Celestial destiny which is already established in game is not the truth. This is hinted at in Apeps voiceline were she says "The fabric of universe itself was on the verge of collapse"
@@ShirouE Royalty and nobility are two different things. The Alberich family were nobles of Khaenri'ah, yes. But they were not of royal blood, if the notes that could be found during the "Hidden Strife" event of 2.8 are to be trusted. Here the direct quote: "Remember always that it was the Alberich Clan, who did not have royal blood, who stepped in as regents when the strength of the one-eyed king Irmin failed. Though we could not restore Khaenri'ah to life, we of the Alberich Clan should lead lives as those who blaze like fire, rather than those who wallow in the embers."
i love this video but i had to slow you down and put the playback speed at 0.75x because i could not keep up with what you were saying about otherwise 😭
I love ur videos, just constructive and friendly feedback: please optimize the volumes (and overall the style/quality) of the background music and the volume of your speech so they are more harmonized
Insane mythological parallels and possibilities! Do you think that Capitano is Rerir by chance? Your outro seemed to indicate as such due to the video timing panning to his image or perhaps its coincidental, still...very curious potential connection, especially considering his concealed identity and apparent tie to Natlan let alone all the other aspects that convey eclipse elements and clearly what Genshin's story is mounting towards
Il Capitano could be anyone. I thought Rerir is an option so I decided to make this video. However, I did not mention my suspicion because Capitano could be anyone, including someone we've never seen before.
Two things 1/ isn't the angels more in line with primordial one? Considering the whole (wings and crown) po has going on, and that Celestia are always linked to birds while dragons are linked to serpents Also i belive the the primordial one's demon name is Lucifer, and what is a dead angel if not a FALLEN angel? 2/i belive that paimon is the shared demon name of the three moon sisters, because they're the fates, the trinity of fate, that's why paimon is in a weird place between a moral and a Devine being, she's basically a 1/3 of a god, and why paimon has alot of separation anxiety, she was always with her sisters even in the (metaphorical) womb, so being separated from her sister must have been too much for her Also i think the little girl in the angel's egg represents paimon and the dead angel she's trying to bring back to life is none other then her beloved father and master to whom she's the most loyal, none other the the original god of teyvat, Lucifer the primordial one
When it comes to Dragons and Demon Gods in Genshin, the writers make a twist to the story. Demon Gods (as you can tell by their names) are demonic in nature and are inspired by such in real life. Dragons are almost always depicted in Angelic ways. Neuvillette looks like an Angel when he is flying and Dvalin is also depicted with Angelic symbolism in Mondstadt. Seelies are also based on Sea angels and they seem to be dragon-aligned. Oh, and Neuvillette calls Nibelung "The Heavenly Father" which is the name of the ultimate god (The Holy Trinity). As for what you said about Paimon and the Egg, MNFN talked about that a few times before so I think he might agree with you.
@@ReverseElectro demon gods are only demonic in name, we are yet to meet a named God who's truly evil Even some gods i don't like, (looking at You Deshret) aren't evil And the primordial one themselves don't sound evil to me, i mean yeah they usurped the dragons, but there's probably more to the story, and phanes did it so they can create humanity, so they got their reasons for doing stuff, Also also, how are sealis related to dragons? Weren't they created by Celestia to be the middle man between them and humanity?
@@mitab1 It's not about good or evil. It's just that Genshin puts a twist on our conventional understanding of Angels and Demons where Dragons (usually related to devils and serpents) are angelic.
So, if we heard that if the moon sisters HAD to pilot a carriage constantly otherwise doom would happen, and we add the eclipse parts, then... if one gets distracted it causes either a lunar/solar eclipse and the world may need the opposite at the time?
So... Genshin has been Anime version of Dark soul with Breath of the wild formula with a twist? This vid hit my brick of a brain like a truck: *always been*
i love your videos BUUUUUUT id like it more if the videos were longer and you would narrate slower , sometimes i have to set the video speed to 0.75 (and it start to sound like darthvader) speed so i can follow along sometimes you're speed talking and it get hard to follow the theory especially for someone like me that is trying to make sense of every detail , i watch many theories channels and try to make sense of the theories it seem to me like each youtuber has a great point if only both could link each others videos bc some are a direct continuity with ofc some contradictions with names but the main point is the same , now as natlan approach the theories are tiding it seem like all theories are right about simulanka being THE BIG SPOILER for genshin future while playing it we understood the meaning of the event but not the link with past and future of teyvat and beyond teyvat
I wanted to point out something about Angel's Egg- I think the "island" they're on IS actually the ark at the beginning, you can see it's shadow when it zooms out. And in the beginning you can see the posts still holding it up, which would mean that it never even set sail to begin with. Perhaps the god never came back and they died out waiting, thinking that their ark was all there was? That would be terribly ironic that humanity died waiting for an apocalypse that never came.
With Natlan coming, I am EAGER to know more about how Zhongli gave Xiao a new name and why because it seems to be relevant to the plot of Natlan's AQ. 🥹Finally more Xiao lore. Also I have never thought of a relationship between Zhongli and Mibelung to be quiet frank... because I assumed the ''heavenly power'' or the power of order that he represents always seems to me to be antagonistic to the power of nature, as seen in Chenyu Vale, but you might be onto something, it gives a new meaning to his discussion with Azhdaha who was loathing for the ''sun'', and him giving him ''eyes''.
Crack theory incoming: Zhongli/Morax/Rex Lapis was made from the heart of Nibelung just like Egeria was made from the heart of Neuvillette's predecessor in order to stop Nibelung from reviving and going for Round 3 against the Primordial One, so to revive Nibelung Zhongli must die (for real this time). Thanks for the vid though, I feel like you keep prying my third eye open with a crowbar, it's great!
Egeria wasnt made from the heart of the sovereign dragon. She was created from the substances of Teyvat to replace the water sovereign as the heart of the primordial sea
Ok fair, I could have sworn that Egeria was made from the heart of Neuvillette's predecessor but I apparently confused myself somehow because I am not able to find anything to back that up. The old Hydro Sovereign was the Heart of the Primordial Sea, he got nuked by the Primordial One, one of the four Shades made Egeria to be the Heart of the Primordial Sea to apparently prevent any Hydro Sovereigns coming back *somehow* because Monsieur Os told us 'After all, no new Hydro Dragon could be born so long as the Mistress of Many Waters hibernated in the deep sea.' I guess I somehow thought that Egeria was made from the old dragon's heart which could explain why Neuvillette could only be born when Egeria died, but I cannot find it anywhere now quickly so I guess I hallucinated it lol. So I would need to change my crack theory to just be: what if Zhongli is the Egeria to Nibelung's old Hydro Sovereign and in order for Nibelung to be revived Zhongli has to die? My bad, I have been deep in the lore sauce ingame and on TH-cam for a while so apparently some things are all getting mixed up in my brain somewhere.
Does anyone remember an NPC in the chasm (?) having a different line if you choose Aether or Lumine? And the line is about being descended from Morax / description or Morax or something like that. With all the family trees talked about in the video it made me think of that, but I can’t find anything about it online anymore and maybe it was just a fever dream.
I think this guy would need to revisit the inspirations of Disney (including kingdom hearts) in the Hoyoverse. I mean, HI3 did what the Master of Master failed to do (contain the entities of destruction in one form to destroy them) while KH did what HI3 failed (make a weapon out of the world keys)
"The hero falls in love with a valkyrie called Brynhild, who is also his aunt, but we won't talk about that, " he says right after revealing Siegfried himself is an incest baby.
[Please more long form videos, i live for your movies] I just can't fathom how the Sovereign of Sovereigns, the Heavenly Father himself Nibelung, lost in that battle against the Primordial One... Especially with the help of the other original dragons. 34:00 Doesn't Dain have the broken ring of Nibelung? The Pari in the desert said they saw a blond man emerging from the Abyss while clutching a ring tightly to his chest. Before that, during our first encounter with Dain we learnt that he went to Vagner, the blacksmith in Mondstadt to try and reforge the ring but Vagner has never heard of the necessary ingredients needed for that blacksmithing process. So is the Ring of Nibelung a metaphorical ring, an eclipse as you say, or is it an actual item, like what Dain presumably has...?

@MyNameForNow do you think there's a possibility that Sneznaya's Archon is trying to revive the 3rd descender that's why she's gathering all of the gnosi? If so, does that entail that Paimon might be also a fragment of the 3rd Descender or is the 3rd Descender who lost her powers, memories and was divided due to perhaps changing something in history like Rukkha did (as Paimon looks like the King piece in the chess board)? I kinda look at it like the 3rd Descender might be something similar to the 10 tails in Naruto. thoughts?

Wait what are the references to Mushoku Tensei in Genshin? I'm a huge fan of both but didn't really get it. Is it Neuvillette similarity to the Dragon God? I don't see what else it could be.
Off the top of my head:- 1. The Flying Castle 2. Dragons that can take the shape of Humans 3. The Man God is actually the villain 4. Ancient War between humans and dragons At least these are the things I remember immediately, but there will certainly be more.
are there any correlation on aranara called paimon as silver pixie and traveler as golden haired... hero? (i forget hero or somthing) from aranara quest. did those mean moon and sun too?
Yes, they meant the Sun and the Moon as well (one Aranara even explicitly says it). There are other examples where the Traveler and Paimon are equated with the Sun and Moon. The Melusine Canotilla does it, and the main World Quest of Chenyu Vale has that too.
34:37 I genuinely don’t think you understand the implications behind this statement. What if humanity was created before the Primordial One came? What if the Unified Civilization had always existed and the Primordial One took over it in a peaceful transition of power? What if the Second Descender fought the First Descender and now rules Teyvat (I wouldn’t discredit this theory). What if alchemy was not an Adeptal art but actually started by the Sovereigns? This statement has too many things that change what we know about lore and you genuinely don’t underestimate what this line of thinking is. Besides, numerous theories which were fully based on the Byakoyakoku Collection have been proven correct time and time again so I wouldn’t doubt its authenticity in the slightest. Also, Staff of Scarlet Sands implies that the sun and moons were created by the Primordial One and there is some existence the Shades are the Solar Chariot and Moon Sisters.

There's a strong chance he who says: "That is the tragedy of your short lives, you understand NOTHING of power" is one of the sinners, hanging out in the night realm. Which seems like a "land of the dead" where spirits hang out, possibly they can be called back to life in natlan through some means which would be the resurrection they're talking about. I'd say we'll be trying clear abyssal influence from this area before natlan gets destroyed. The travellers ability to CLEANSE may be the only thing that can do that.

- When I talked about the status of the House of Alberich within Khaenri'ah, I referred to them are "Royalty". I should have used the word "Nobility" instead as it is far more appropriate.
Then make a 15 minute video about what yoynleft out
Well....I'll make a parenthesis.
@@nitesy381 I agree
I think Rerir "might" be a woman. The 3 star weapon "Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers" tells us a fictional story of a band of five heroes who go off on a dragon hunt and each of them have different reasons to hunt it:
For honor, the master swordsman.
Did bro just make a 40-minute long Lore theory on a guy whom we know nothing about aside from his name?

This level of worldbuilding is beyond insane. Like, how did they even come up with this insanity in the first place?

This actually makes a lot of sense considering that both of the Ancient Dragon Sovereigns we know (Apep and Neuvillette) use Rings in their animations and have heavy Ring motifs in their designs. I had no clue that there was THIS MUCH potential lore around Rerir. This is so cool!
@@sen_sui888
I mean, you mentioned A leitmotif used in battle themes AND character demos.
I think I've only heard Photon being used in both instances. Maybe I'm wrong, but for now, the only thing coming close to it is the leitmotif used in Nilou's demo that is also used when she ends the Samsaras.
@@clemente3966 Ah, in this case yes it is “Photon” the theme of Teyvat
30:37 I actually have a good candidate for who might help the Traveler in Jumping Rerir, I think it might be Raiden.
You are right actually, this makes sense. I can't believe I forgot about her when she used to have a Crimson Moon behind her. Raiden is definitely a strong candidate.
@@DragonMJE Do you have any idea why Raiden has that crimson moon behind her btw? I never understood that.
@@Aiden-iy9du Wouldn't she have it considering Ei saw her sister die in Khaenri'ah & she was deep in her grief from it when she was creating the Shogun puppet alongside the Plane of Euthymia?
The cataclysm had such a deep lasting impact on her
@@Natoreo maybe

I also found a couple of LOTR Easter
Eggs in Simulanka.

🎉Rerir🎉, finally someone recognized that my fave existed.

I just woke up and now this is online HELL YEAH
Yippie, another video from the Lore Archon
damn sick theory actually, the Paimon section blew me away with 61 and reference to flyme2themoon
now i want to add to this theory in a different way, not sure if u have mentioned this in full before but i think u at least agree that Oceanids are representing Seelies in the story to foreshadow Seelies.
I personally have a theoru that istaroth is a cecilia expy, based on ventis relation with cecilia flowers, and him being one of the thousand winds
I also believe the moon sisters are kiana aka sustainer, durandal, and sirin
Another theory is the shades of life and death being seele and veliona for obvious reasons, also explaining why egeria has similaries to seele as she was basically the daughters of the shade of life
In addition cecilia is one of the few hi3 characters that is a mother, she weilded the abyssal flower which has assosiations with life and death, so if you stretch it a bit it can be linked to fertility which is what ishtar is the goddess of, for the war part it is quite obvious she was THE valkery of her time. This also ties in with Astaroth being an incarnation of death.
In addition the schariac bloodline has healing abilities which is one more interesting tidbit
If I remember correctly he already talked about the possibility of Cecilia being Istaroth in his video about the 5 Sinners
This guy is physically incapable of making a video without mentioning Zhongli in it in some way... Literally, every theory has at least 1 Zhongli mention.

Here the direct quote:
"Remember always that it was the Alberich Clan, who did not have royal blood, who stepped in as regents when the strength of the one-eyed king Irmin failed. Though we could not restore Khaenri'ah to life, we of the Alberich Clan should lead lives as those who blaze like fire, rather than those who wallow in the embers."

Two things
1/ isn't the angels more in line with primordial one? Considering the whole (wings and crown) po has going on, and that Celestia are always linked to birds while dragons are linked to serpents
Also i belive the the primordial one's demon name is Lucifer, and what is a dead angel if not a FALLEN angel?
2/i belive that paimon is the shared demon name of the three moon sisters, because they're the fates, the trinity of fate, that's why paimon is in a weird place between a moral and a Devine being, she's basically a 1/3 of a god, and why paimon has alot of separation anxiety, she was always with her sisters even in the (metaphorical) womb, so being separated from her sister must have been too much for her
Also i think the little girl in the angel's egg represents paimon and the dead angel she's trying to bring back to life is none other then her beloved father and master to whom she's the most loyal, none other the the original god of teyvat, Lucifer the primordial one
I thought about this too
When it comes to Dragons and Demon Gods in Genshin, the writers make a twist to the story.
@@ReverseElectro demon gods are only demonic in name, we are yet to meet a named God who's truly evil
Even some gods i don't like, (looking at You Deshret) aren't evil
And the primordial one themselves don't sound evil to me, i mean yeah they usurped the dragons, but there's probably more to the story, and phanes did it so they can create humanity, so they got their reasons for doing stuff,
Also also, how are sealis related to dragons? Weren't they created by Celestia to be the middle man between them and humanity?
@@mitab1 It's not about good or evil. It's just that Genshin puts a twist on our conventional understanding of Angels and Demons where Dragons (usually related to devils and serpents) are angelic.
unironically the ring of nibelung could be..... the ELDEN RING

The quote for the traveler's drip marketing is seeming more sus by the day lmao

@MyNameForNow do you think there's a possibility that Sneznaya's Archon is trying to revive the 3rd descender that's why she's gathering all of the gnosi? If so, does that entail that Paimon might be also a fragment of the 3rd Descender or is the 3rd Descender who lost her powers, memories and was divided due to perhaps changing something in history like Rukkha did (as Paimon looks like the King piece in the chess board)? I kinda look at it like the 3rd Descender might be something similar to the 10 tails in Naruto. thoughts?
I think she is trying to revive the 3rd descender, that descender being a reborn Nibelung

You can't erase me I won't give up until I become the perfect beauty a dream you won't be walking from like a welcoming grave MY VOICE WILL NEVER FADE AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!😈. Now the task is done 😇
Gang banging the sinners with this one 🔥
What if we are traveling inside Paimon's dream?
Would explain why she can control time and also where we can and cant go
What music track is playing at 30:45?
It's timeee
Wait what are the references to Mushoku Tensei in Genshin? I'm a huge fan of both but didn't really get it. Is it Neuvillette similarity to the Dragon God? I don't see what else it could be.
Off the top of my head:-
1. The Flying Castle
2. Dragons that can take the shape of Humans
3. The Man God is actually the villain
4. Ancient War between humans and dragons
At least these are the things I remember immediately, but there will certainly be more.
Wow im eating good today
Damn I'm like 10 seconds in and you are rapping 🤣🤣
I don't think I have heard you talk that fast before lol.
are there any correlation on aranara called paimon as silver pixie and traveler as golden haired...
My brain is melting and I’m struggling to digest everything in this theory. who is paimon/kianna’s father in genshin and please say nebelung or someone related 😂 I need playable half dragon kevin in genshin.
I thought my video was at x2 speed
Could you lower the background music a bit for upcoming videos?
I find your voice already low and the bg music seems to be at the same level so no matter what i do to my volume nothing helps
Thanks for the attention if you read this!
💀 this dude might be a paimonial secret agent. Deployed by genshin? Who knows.
🗿 I ll keep my distance from youtube, from now on.
💀 I ll come again.
Can i just say that jeans last name is brunhilde, and anothe rpoint is that kiana kaslana looks similar to sustainer of heavenly principles
Jean's family (from her mother's side) is Gunnhildr not Brünnhilde.
Kiana looking similar to the Sustainer is normal since both Rukkhadevata and Kusanali are also variations of her by proxy of Theresa and Kallen.
No.. no no no no no. Why did you mention mushoku tensei. You know who dainslef always reminded me of? Right - orsted. 5 sinners - 5 dragon generals?
So zhongli is actually a Rhinemaiden. Got it.
Where does Fafner fit into all this?
Please tell me where is the mushoku tensei refrence,
I'm going crazy and i am going to morb
So don't underestimate me i will go hogwild
Ps : just tell me about it

3 - 5 moons? Did I miss a video of yours?
Probably the 3 Moon Goddesses plus the moon in the Abyss. I have no idea about a potential 5th one.
Wait so all of Genshin is effectively a sequel to their first game 😅
Bruh, I have to watch your theory videos at 0.75x speed because the flow of information is too fast for me to digest it all.
