Jehlum Jehlum + Dayaghana Mashup Cover
I’m pleased to share my humble attempt of combining the song Jehlum Jehlum composed and sung by Vishal Bharadwaj Ji, and the Marathi song Dayaghana, composed by Pt. Hridaynath Mangeshkar ji and sung by Suresh Wadkar ji. Jehlum Jehlum is based on raag Puriya Dhanashri while Dayaghana is based on raag Poorvi! However, the chalan (I.e., the way these songs are sung) of these two beautiful songs gels well together; especially the verse of “Daha dishanchi kothadi” of Dayaghana goes well with Jehlum song, I feel.
However, do let me know your view and feedback. I’m keen to know if you got the feel of the original compositions of these maestros.
