I think this is a good example of how different tiers of players have completely different experiences with regards to the balance/meta of this game. I've never had any trouble fighting Tiandi. Its not like I have a particular strategy or anything, he's just never been a problem. Hitokiri on the other hand, now thats a character I hate with a burning passion. Could just be a difference of dealing with those characters in 4v4s vs duels (I mostly play Dom), but it could be the case that I (and probably a large majority of the playerbase) for the most part don't get matched against the kind of people you do. Its fun seeing your perspective and skills, but we might as well be playing completely different games
If they modeled the move sets in a similar more methodical way, like kensei for example.. the game would be in a much better place. Work for that unblockable, work for that hyper armor. Superior dodge shouldn't be spammed to get i-frames with little stamina costs.(though it's not really a big deal on tiandi). I even miss pre buffed raider. He was all mind games and actual mixup. Now his unblockable can be spam fainted, he has hyper armor on 2nd and third heavy chain etc.. hito is another example of a lazy design that favors 2 buttons. I'm just ranting at this point lol
I get that issue where you move backwards as well when you are trying to bash feint. I swear that didn't used to happen but I took a long break from shaman so idk if they changed her at all. but super frustrating when you have them bleeding and oos, and you try to bite feint and you dodge back and too far away to grab like wtf.
Do you have any info to give ab hit stun before you can parry follow up lights? Specifically attacks like zerks zone follow up or shamans zone soft front

He’s just lost the perspective for so long, he can’t comprehend how others struggle against what he thrives in
Definitely not, I understand the struggles of other players, but I also realize that a lot of it is kind of irrelevant if skill is the primary driving factor to why you are struggling. If it’s something that can be overcome with skill, then I just don’t see it worth acknowledging really. At least not worth mentioning when giving my opinion on something.
@@WithOneS it’s not just skill that holds back players. It could be the fact that console just doesn’t have the frames needed to reach your level of skill. It could be that their TV doesn’t support the frame rate needed to react to attacks. It could even just be the fact that some people can never be able to react that quickly. Again, it goes back to the rich people thing. They focus on one obstacle without even noticing the other things that could be in the way. “Just work harder” is a horrible way to explain your line of reasoning
@BeefstickFather saying that is ignoring the fact that there are so many insane console players out there literally the second best duelist in the game caelid is a console player based around reads not reacts. And there are so many more examples the only reason why so many people say what you say is because they aren't good so they complain about someone having frames when the main reason why they suck is because of there lack of game knowledge. (Not saying you suck but a lot of people who complain bout that stuff do.)

But then there’s Caelid, who can’t react to anything at all, only lights, and he is tied for #1 in the world next to Bean in duels. Everyone has a different experience and I’m only going to say what pertains to me, but for the sake of the argument, if you COULDNT react, would not offense be even better? Therefore clicking buttons would work even more? That’s what I’m addressing in the timestamp posted. My opinion is still valid on that subject matter.

Those few good console players also have the latest gen consoles and latest gen TV/Monitors too. All of which further improves their reactions with increased frames
