Brilliant episode ! I’ve had 2 c-sections and the 2nd included a bladder resection because everything was ‘stuck together’ because of the 1st one !! It’s a little known fact that after surgery, especially in the abdomen, your insides become ‘sticky’ as they heal, meaning that your organs can actually get stuck to each other upon healing. I was lucky in that I’m Welsh (from Wales 🏴 in the UK) so everything is free and also my surgeon was a urology surgeon before going into obstetrics ! Sean did both of my surgeries and I was discharged after 48 hours on both occasions. I was actually in the shower at 6am following the 2nd longer c-section after having my son at 10.30pm the previous night. I healed remarkably quickly on both occasions, suffered no long term effects and wasn’t dead tired like the mothers who went through several days of contractions etc. I’ve never had a contraction but they sound awful !! I went home with no painkillers and I was absolutely fine. Both c-sections saved the lives of my sons as my body didn’t seem to realise it was pregnant 😂😂😂 plus my umbilical cord stopped working so they both needed to come out immediately.
I am looking forward to the origins, and your amazing sense of humour 😂 I hope once we have some momentum on a few, we can expect some crossovers especially between higher learning and origins, and others
Ah, the past. The past was ... the worst. I knew the chainsaw was used on people well before it's modern usages, I was aware of hand-crank chainsaws for removing limbs. I did not realize it was originally for baby extraction. The past, man, am I right?
I think it’s important for people to know the struggles of women. Many of women’s experiences throughout history can be erased. I think everyone needs to know these things, especially if they are going to make laws on the bodies of people who can get pregnant. I was a 10 pound baby, and my mom had to get a traumatic procedure because it was too late to get a c-section. It wasn’t with a chainsaw, but my mom had to have an episiotomy. They needed to use a surgical vacuum to get me out. My shoulder broke in the process of my birth, but my mom suffered much worse injuries from the birth that was traumatic for both of us. I’m so grateful for my mom. If they hadn’t performed the procedure this way, I would have died. I was the first child. After this, my mom had a c-section with my younger sister, who was almost 11 pounds. Thank you for making this video. Childbirth has come a long way, but hopefully improvements will also be coming to make the process less traumatic.
dog it's not even the doctors getting all that money, it's the insurance companies. if things continue the way they're going, being a doctor won't even be a desirable profession, because why work so hard at med school to make not enough money. it's already a reality for nurses.

I could have gone my entire life without knowing the origins of the chainsaw.

I've heard that Daven and Simon keep theirs upstairs and not in the basement. Allegedly. Cheers from Tennessee
Morgan Co here neighbor.
Of course Simon doesn't keep his in the basement, Danny would be able to escape if it were
Yeah, can't give Danny the opportunity
I think I could've gone my whole life happily not knowing that trivia. The past was the literal worst.
Lord Daven has returned!
They still cut women open when the baby gets stuck during natural birth. Does that make it misogyny? No.

I heard about some of this before, but you cleared everything up. Nice video, but a bit gruesome. I liked it none the less.
Instantly followed from a longtime TIFO viewer.
