@@kyeishalaurence1630 would you be willing to share any tips on trying to get an A in bio and effective studying and memory retention skills for bio and history please. I always struggled with those courses in high school. Want to do far better in college.
Most people get surprised when I tell them: "I studied around 8-12 hours daily, and got a C in Trigonometry." Sounds crazy right. Well, I ended up with a 2.8 GPA for Spring semester. Now, getting A's seems really difficult from my perspective. But, I got to admit that I suffered from chronic stress and sleep deprivation for years. Maybe that why I ended up slow-witted lol. Moral of the story, stay as healthy as possible.
i’m going to be honest with you. those 8-12 hours that you’re studying are most likely mindless and distracted. do not study for long hours every day. instead do spaced repetition and pomodoro. heavy flow work in short bursts of time will make you so much more productive in a short amount of time. review lecture notes as soon as you leave and study each subject a little every day. that will make it so much easier for you to study AND you will be able to do well on your exams. i hoped this helped a little.
Thank you very much for these tips. For colleges and scholarship givers, of course a student is his GPA. I am pretty sure you have someone who has your back and pays your way through life. For working students things do not work that easy. Trust me!
