Legend17 Especially the civics Hey bro so you know I bought the same Vantrue dash cam you did and I have done a lot of research and spoken to the company it is highly advised not to use Sandisk Moro USB’s they can damage cam over time or simply not work I went through They highly recommend only using a genuine Samsung Pro Endurance You pick the gig I went 128 but don’t buy on eBay Buy from Vantrue or better Samsung website There are tons of fakes on eBay For 20 bucks I would change out a Sandisk for piece of mind They are only a few that are even compatible and not the right route for high end dash cams Take care

You are obviously uneducated The 1.5 is solid you are wrong Yeah a 2.0 is great with manual but weather you believe it or not as a mechanic don’t matter to me and understand direct injection and everything about it before you knock a solid motor Fuel dilution was a past problem and Fuel dilution can happen in any car from fuel vapor blow by that reroutes through the PCV system back in intake where it reburns All Honda has to do is use dual injection and the results are cleaner valves obviously you don’t understand regardless if a 2 liter or 1.5 direct injection neither are stopping carbon buildup on the rear valves so it’s irrelevant what motor you are discussing with no rear intake valve fuel clean that direct injection resolved and no catch cans don’t completly resolve problem so in these non aspirated motors carbon will eventually rob power valves won’t seat it’s the same in both motors power wise the 2.0 but down the road carbon buildup Don’t matter which motor

Mpg numbers go down depending on the tire size and trim. I am pretty sure you have the 2.0 engine. You should be seeing almost the same if not the same mpgs if you get the sport. I would say wait for the redesign civic. The civic will be changed for 2021 or 2022 I believe

I dropped 28K tax included on 2016 GTI performance package with 22,000 km few years back. People need to know when you're getting robbed blind. Matthew Monaco well here in United States the sport is next to the base trim. It’s not the top model. We have ex exl and then tourning on top of the sport. And we have lx which is the base trim. The sport is above the lx and it’s an amazing price in my opinion. Which is $26k Canadian
I'm in the process of car shopping and have my eyes set on a used 2018 Civic 1.5t. I had an auto-technician inspect the car and he concluded that it was running very rich (-17 LTFT, -13 STFT) and it's oil level was unusually high (no gasoline smell). When researching online I see that the 1.5t engines from 2017-18 have oil dilution issues, which Honda seemingly acknowledged by extending the powertrain warranty; however, I can't find any information about whether or not the issues in these vehicles were resolved. Did Honda adequately remedy this issue in the older models? Do the 2019 & 2020 models have this issue?
MyDustyVision I herd the issue is Mainly in the crv. I herd very few in the civic. But mostly crv. For 2019 and 2020 Honda still didn’t fix the issue from what I herd. I reviewed a 2020 crv and a lot of people said that Honda still didn’t change it. My dad have a 2.0 civic and it’s amazing. I know the 1.5t has more power. But not by much. If you wanna play it safe I would say get the 2.0 with no turbo. I have a 2.0t accord turbo with issues at all

Legend17 Hope your running a Stage 2 K Tuner as the basic don’t control output torque protection which can over stress transmission that the stage 2 controls Could fuck your tranny if you are trying for 370 torque I would not chance that myself You play with too many mods you could regret it so be careful with achieving those torque ratios Do some research before you just go for it Honda wouldn’t recommend it and it would void any warranty and you wouldn’t even want to know the cost of a 10 speed trans for your car Just be safe not saying you can’t get it done that’s high torque for a Accord 4 Sure Would love to see you get it done Your car would be a sleeping crazy fast car

Carbon deposits have not been an issue on the 1.5. I would challenge anyone to find a single case of motor failure due to “oil dilution”.

I got a 2021 Honda Civic sport automatic today saw scratches on it so they took it on a second time car wash and just noticed more scratches on it.
What are they gonna do in this case if I go back to the dealership and complain?
Will I get same car different color if they don’t have the one I got?
Am I able to change it for a civic SI instead?? I wanted stick shift to begin with
