Such an amazing tutorial! I was on the hunt for a patterning tutorial to make a shawl collar with a “quirkier” shape and this tutorial is not only super close to my own design but it’s also very easy to understand!! Thank you so much! Hope you never stop making such amazing patterning tutorials :)
Charlotta, what a fabulous design. I love the idea of a separate bagged out, maybe reversible version. Could you put a chain between the two front neck pieces to sit across the back neck under the collar so you don't have to add the back neck facing?
Hello Natalie, it’s such a clever idea, I’m glad you like it too! We talking about bagging it out on the membership and someone suggested using it to add inseam or welt pockets, which also sounds fab. The chain idea is fantastic and you could make a really nice detail out of it too!
Hello, I’ve got a tutorial for that on my website. It covers drafting and fitting. Alternatively you can just cut of the desired width of your bodice and use that as a completely flat neck band. www.patterncutting.school/programs/draft-and-fit-a-stand-collar
Your channel is so underrated. Love that you provide details as to why you're doing certain steps, unlike many books that just leave you clueless.
Thank you so much! I always felt the same, most places show you the how, but not the why!

You’re so welcome Andrea. Glad you like it, it gives the best of two options in my opinion.
Thanks Charlotta.
You’re welcome!
Could you do a tutorial on band collar, just like a mandarin collar but it lays flat as in banded crew neckline.
