Very late to the discussion here, but 15-20 minutes in I'm thinking with the choke point you've got 'em wasting their resources on, just go for more High Templar and Corsairs. The former casts an AoE damage effect, the latter an AoE defense effect. With 5-6 of each (and all of the gas you've got would make even more Templar affordable) you could probably pull it off with only a handful of Photon Cannons destroyed if the computer is going to keep playing that way. Later in the game, make more Templar and morph them into Archons when the comps are exhausted and you need to take out their bases to win. EDIT: Ah, BIG Game Hunters... now I see why it take so long, the mineral fields and gas reserves are enormous, so building up a counter-attack force is essential. But I would still have built some Corsiars to keep up a Disruption Web over the area. It lasts a long time--many Hydralisks would be lining up to die in front of those cannons. Maybe later a Dark Archon to grab a Drone and start a Zerg attack force to mow down the map.

I micro micro micro and optimize strats, playing on the slowest game speed (yes, I'm that weird about it). But I do love to have the degree of near-instant control and reaction that a comp does, with a real brain to develop things a comp can't.

That is probably because of Windows XP (Service Pack 3). I had problems with computer AI in Starcraft Original campaigns when I started playing on Win XP (SP3). Serious problems, like some AI players wouldn't even start mining minerals. But I had usually no problems with Broodwar maps.
I know there are backseat tacticians here,.and I want to place my 2 cents. I think, like how you do your Supply Depots in the game, do the pylons at an angle. Then, maybe the small units can't get through.
Do you even need to attack a specific unit with a dozen of carriers? Just attack the area let them clear everything automatically. And you didn't even upgrade all, and upgrade is so slow. Why one by one? You can upgrade all three at the same time.

Yes. I've played this map dozens of times. You can win with any attack unit. Reavers, Archons, Dragoons... Hell, you can throw 50 Zealots at everything and win as long as you can weather the enemy AI's air force.
it is a version of starcraft where zergs use air units, queens, mutalisk, all of them. i lost that starcraft version when my old computer died in november.
If this guy walled off with gateways the resources loss should have been minimal... No need to constantly remake cannons... Reavers and templars for defense ? Wow...
zerg with 2 expos always end up in the limbo of not going hive tech, u pretty much just played vs early game zerg, no guardians etc the protoss one was more interesting, but u abused supply depot vs cpu, meh idk
Not one Zerg spore colony. I mean, really. If your enemy is only using air units... wouldn't you want some air defense? It's like the Zerg AI was turned down to inbred yokel.

Zerg AI is kinda broken in two starting locations. That's more or less 1 vs 5 not even going high tech...

На обычном хантерсе выигрывается +/- проще. ресурсы кончаются как раз у компьютера.
