Thank you for posting this. I am Haitian who is Ewe descent. Haiti is divided into arrondissements where every place has either closely shared or different history from one another.
    Thank you.

The Ewe / Aja are widespread. They span Ghana , Togo , Benin and Nigeria. They founded the Dahomey Kingdom. Fongbe is a type of Ewegbe ( ie Ewe dialect).

I appreciate your videos! I am an American married to an Ewe man. I am trying to learn the language and these videos are great for practicing pronunciation and getting the sounds in my head.

Thanks for the diligence and hard work. Intro music is extremely loud. Looking forward to more productions as I'd like to practice this language. Call and response songs would be a great addition.

Some years ago whilst at work at a clinic I encountered an African woman who started speaking to me in what sounded like an African language of some sort.

I live in USA I am a descendant of the EWE people on my father's side. I want to travel to Togo and Ghana. Thank you for the lesson. Also I have done some research that leads me to believe that the Ewe are Jews. I read an encyclopedia from the middle ages that talks about Iewes living in the region.

@@django628 Concerning the fact that Ewe people are jews, I also came across that documentary but I can not justify how true it is, the ewe speaking people are mostly found in Togo and Ghana of which are large percentage are in Togo
