Your hair is beautiful! I was natural at one time, but I went back to the relaxed hair. But very early this morning I decided to go back to natural. I’m so tired of the breakage! My hair is still long, but I want my strands to be stronger.

Simply beautiful! I'm four months post relaxer and just this morning I told my boyfriend I was going back to perm. I was going to cancel my install appointment. I, like you were, am very hesitant about the wig/weave process. However, after seeing this, I am going to keep it! Thanks to you and this video, I'm inspired to continue my journey to natural healthy hair.

Thank you for sharing your journey I’m 8 weeks post relaxer…I’m glad you emphasized wearing braids and weaves because some people are so against it but it’s the quickest way to grow your hair out and to keep it healthy.

I've been getting relaxers for years, but in the last year or two, I didn't like the bone straight look; I love how my natural hair grows in thick. I do get that it takes time. I've been getting braids all summer and I like it. I'm now looking into headband wigs; I can't do the glue stuff...lol

Ever since I was a child, my hair has always been thick and healthy, thanks to my mom's diligent care. However, just before I began high school, it suddenly became tangled and unmanageable. Unsure of what to do, my mom took me to my aunt for help. Thankfully, my aunt was able to untangle my hair, although she had to cut the middle section as it was severely tangled. From that point on, I started using relaxers in my hair, and I have continued to do so until now. Now I am ready to embrace my natural hair again because I didn't know what type of hair I have.

This was so inspiring! I transitioned for 2 years before deciding to cut the rest of the relaxed ends off. My hair started to grow long in it's natural state. Unfortunately it stop when I recently got my hair colored. My hair hasn't been the same since. I am now trying to get my hair back on track. I keep my hair in protective styles majority of the time. However, I do not deep condition or cut my ends as much as I should. I would now make sure I definitely do that. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for sharing, Ciera! I'd for sure suggest getting trims regularly. Your hair is always growing but trimming it will help with the breakage. I get it! Color was my thing for a while, but I saw a difference when I stopped coloring my hair. Keep me updated on your journey! :)

KeKe girl you are inspiring me! You know I started my journey around the same time that you did in 2016 and I would go a few months and then relax my hair again, and again over time. I currently relax every 6 months (twice per year) and the time is swiftly approaching to relax again. August was the last time I relaxed and I have an appointment to get my next one this Saturday...you got me thinking about cancelling girl lol. My problem is I don't feel like dealing with my hair BUT I don't want to go to a Stylist either knowing full well I can do it myself and save some money.
