genuinely not the worst list i’ve ever seen, ranking quadeca is pretty much impossible so this isn’t too bad. good shit
ima nerd out on this one. firstly my top 5 is gonna be 1. DUSTCUTTER 2. Knots 3. GUESS WHO 4. maybe another day 5. fantasyworld. i recognise that production wise sisyphus is the standout from FMTY but there’s just something about maybe another day and the feeling it gives me that makes it an all timer for me and don’t even get me started on how underrated knots is the beat is DISGUSTING and i just adore when quad gets in his rap bag hence the GUESS WHO placement. i have to shoutout a dream i cant remeber which is absolutely beautiful and way ahead of it’s time and finally the feeling of drifting apart, that song tears at my heartstrings (i also have a soft spot for no deal shout out moxas)
Maybe Another Day is s fucking good, and DUSTCUTTER might be one of the best songs i've ever heard

Born Yesterday really is just such a magnificent piece of art. The slight shifts in the instrumental throughout. The continued abrasive repetitiveness of the gorgeous hook. The heartfelt yet also heartbreaking lyrics. It really is a masterpiece.

born yesterday was alr my fav song by quad and then I realized that it samples the beatles and their song for no one, which is my fav beatles song, so it jst gave me an extra level of appreciation for the track

I think born yesterday is definitely the objectively best song, but guide dog will always be my #1. I think its way more enjoyable if you can relate to it, and its probably the most relatable quadeca song out there for me. When scrapyard came out I liked it more than haunt you, but the other day i was in the mood for idmthy and i listened to it with the lights off and closed my eyes for most of the album and i was like alright yeah this is better, like 2-3 scrapyard songs definitely made me biased. Anyway enough ranting, decent list, love how high you put candles on fire

Think you ranked Fantasy World a couple spots too low but number 4 is still cool. Also great to her some love for What's It To Him cause that's probably one of the best off Scrapyard and I never hear anyone talk about it

Yeah uh Cassini's Division is def too low for my taste. I'm one of the ones who says it's one of his best, it genuinely get's me feeling ways no other song can. For me it's in the better half of IDMTHY, for me it was so special I decided to show it to my mom😭
