My brother too is dyslexic failed out in 3 standard. At age of 29 years old learn his gift at Gaming skill... So we send him to study for gaming developer program. No education at all still then because of his good intact of knowledge in computer the institute@Skio institute Pune took him. My brother learn there for 4 years. Now my brother is a Gaming software designer (My brother is now 44 years old). Earning around 1.70 lakhs every month @ Australia.
Judging disability should be the last thing we should do. Loving, caring n encouragement is what they need. Thanks to DU for touching this issue in a beautiful way.
Indeed every child is special. Its just a depiction of something real in this video where in some families I have seen that their own kids are being neglected for being not like the rest. Tears welled up in my eyes when I saw that kid hugging the uncle atlast, as I could sense the ultimate joy in the boy when someone finally understands him. After working with Community Mental health programme, Even today we got to see people with disabilities and special needs children were still Stigmatized within our own society,where right to education were still neglected and ignorant. His parent's send him there n now he is in 8th standard at the age of 14. He's so talented not only in studies but also good in crafting n playing guitar. Yes, it's hard to believe a deaf playing music but they can play better than us... I am image to see him... Everyone must treat special to everykids...

The school which I was teaching was very much advanced in inclusive education...I am very much Lucky to be part of the inclusive policy team in our school.. even normal students have a learning disability at some point...we should start this inclusive education for every student who has a learning disability... 🙏🙏..
We all have disability in our life. Some have physical disability, some mental disability, so on. Eg. Having a bad handwriting is also one disability. To be perfect we have to trained. Jst last year my son was diagnosed with Intellectual Disability . We thought he was jst being lazy all these years. We punished him alot ,now wen we look bck we feel very sad. We ve accepted his disability. This video is mch needed ,coz most of ta parents are reluctant to accept ta reality mostly because of ta stigma in our society bt I think ta welfare of our kids is the topmost priority.
Once I was appointed as special education teacher by government of nagaland under iedss but got terminated after 4-5 years of service... Reason- government officials end up eating crores of money and there was no fund to give us salary
