I passed today and this was the exact route. The examiner was practical and nice. A friendly reminder to pay attention to yellow light, remember you still have 3 seconds before it turns red. Be mindful of vehicles behind you. Depends on the situation but you can move through yellow light if by then you are very close to the intersection. Vehicles behind you won’t be able to stop right away. So counting to 3 might help! These things might be small but knowing and doing these things can save us from trouble in real life.
As you merge to the high way, don’t be so focused on the speedometer. Be more aware of you surroundings. Yes there is a speed limit of 100, you have to go for it, but you have to consider traffic speed too. Not a big deal if you go 10 kph above or below speed limit. As long as you are blending reasonably with traffic. Not too fast not too slow.
Practice this route 10 times with a trusted person or an instructor and you’ll do great. Relax on your test day and act like you really know what you are doing!

Yesterday I passed in g test in same route Woodstock . My advice is u guys need to drive this route more than 6 times . Sure u will pass … entering and exiting highway shud be between 100-103km/h 100 % u guys will pass
When my friend did her drivers lesson she just did this route over and over again so that everything was just muscle memory
How many routes are there in Woodstock for the G test? Is this the only 1 route or it can be a different one because my test schedule is to be in Woodstock.
I watched this video and had my test yesterday. Unfortunately, I failed. It was my first time in Woodstock, most of the road marks were not visible in test situation

Just gonna come on here and recount my G test experience at Woodstock. I took mine Monday morning I was literally tested the exact same route as the video. They mostly test you on awareness like looking both ways when crossing intersections, stopping at stop signs, checking blindspots and such but major part are the highways. For merging into highways accelerate to 100km/hr quick but also look out for the SLOW trucks at the far right lanes and try to pass them according to speed limit but also narrate whenever you do a maneuver that wasn’t instructed by examiner. Also, follow the yellow speed limit signs when entering and exiting highways. Overall, it was an easy test because I practiced this route and was really lucky to get a nice examiner.
This is bad advice , Yellow signs are NOT speed limits, and they're not meant to be adhered to immediately. If they were they would be white and they would say "maximum" and right off the highway probably 'begins" as well. If you brake down to that speed immediately off the highway in front of a transport that really needs that sign because he can't stop so quickly, you put yourself and anyone in between you and the truck in a lot of danger.
