Feels important to mention, Bright Steel Ring was replaced somewhat recently by the Dull Steel Ring, which only drops you down by one weight class. Devs thought it was too strong, which tbf it was.
Well in the immortal words of Pablo Picasso, "No shit, Sherlock". I don't even know what the hell they were _thinking_ when they thought an item that makes you always fast roll irrespective of your armour was a good idea, let alone making it a mere RING rather than at least an amulet!
Tbh just play the game normally without worrying about meta builds and best in slot items is the way to go and only when you start doing hardcore or apoc runs is it worthwhile to hunt the necessary items. I started item grinding white early and it nearly took all the joy out of the game for me. I had max 2 items for every build I wanted to play so getting the rest was an insane grind especially when you reset a biome 10+ times to get a specific location so I stopped doing that and just enjoyed the game. Nowadays I got so many rings/ amulets/ weapons and mods passively though just playing that I have to at most worry about a single item when trying a new build and that’s after just about 200h which for a game like that isn’t too much
For #7: Barkskin is a separate source of damage reduction from armor so it’s multiplicative with it. Armor reducing 25.4% means you have 74.6% to still reduce, so barkskin only blocks 10% of that 74.6, or 7.46. Hence the final result of 32.9. Statistically it looks like it has diminishing returns, aka 50% DR from armor = 5% more DR from barkskin. But going from 70% DR -> 80% is blocking 1/3rd of incoming damage, while going from 0 -> 10% is only 1/10th
sad that the nebula is actively un-usable for xbox players. the mod crashes the game every time and the spray destroys frame rates. there’s plenty of other things that can’t be used by box players either. i wish gunfire would at least address the issue or give us some updates to fix the game as i would love to have the opportunity to even try the nebula out. good vid!

For the annoying flying boss, if you can get merciless, shoot boss until it applies bleed to the boss, switch to its mod, and wait for bleed to kill it. 😂
I assume he means reroll your adventure. You do it so that you can get new encounters to get specific stuff, such as manticora in the drain event. You do it from main world stone in ward 13, and select the thing at the bottom that says level and campaign. Choose adventure, unless you wanna new campaign, and choose place until you get the starting location you want or place you want.
Tip for mantagora; stay in the area and try not to move to fast through the level; it could come back or even fly over head allowing you too get some shots off and follow in it’s direction, I did it on my first run using this method and I didn’t even know it’s path I was just trying to find it 😂
And shoot her with dots. You're likely only going to get a handful of shots off on her in any given pass, so getting some significant damage while she's out of view cuts the annoyance factor down significantly.
I did it with two friends and we just found a spot it circled every couple of minutes and emptied our bullets into it every time it passed. Took forever 😂
I just started the game last Sunday and had to fight that with it constantly making clones of me so I decided to just stay near the open space near the world crystal and shoot arrows at it while trying to run away from the constant spawning of my clones
Mothgora does not need to be fought across the zone. I killed it by just shooting it in beginning and if you wait it will keep swinging back to drop bombs. You just light it up wait about a minute listen for the wings and boom he will be bombing you repeat tell he finally dies then you can loot in a peace.

reroll the world.. since the game is randomized you can get a particularly hard world on your first time, or just start over and take a different class, that might help.. I found it a bit hard and annoying at first but after a couple levels and changing weapon it became easy..

Indeed. Or pair ravagers mark eith ring of omens for the misty step dodge. Can be pretty handy on apoc as long as you have enough passive healing to regen the grey health
it happens with a lot of souls like games. Best way to keep enjoying it is mix up gear and stats and just set personal goals for yourself. But the future DLC should add in new modes to keep things spicy and fresh.

@Cj-mo6up That auto reload is specifically the provisioners ring you get from hardcore, he did not use gunslinger skill and none of the gunslinger skills reloads stowed weapons passively, the prime perk can do it once when prime perk is active but the shotgun swapper build requires the provisioners ring
What are you talking about kaulas shadow has a weakspot it's the ribs hit her right on the side just below the arms I'm 80% certain that's were I was shooting but I use the moonlight bow so I really have to focus on weakspots or get a class or skill or ring that drops ammo alot which I don't sooooo
The shadow has no weakspots, this is info the entire community is aware of. You may be confusing crit damage with weakspot damage, weakspot damage is red while crit is yellow. And if you did weakspot it was likely a bug as its been well known that the shadow has no weakspots. And the bow is self sufficient and doesn't need any notable extras to top itself off, the mod shoots 2 arrows per charged shot which then returns 1 arrow back making it effectively infinite ammo during the mod.
@@Citrine it wasnt a bug or it might have been but what I learned was I tainted her blood with god splitter and I guess that was making my shots weakspot hits dunno if that was intended or if it was bugging Nah I don't use the moonlight mod the double arrows takes longer to charge up and I hate that the light is so fucking blinding especially on bigger enemies but I hate the design of the other bows and no other weapon is worth there salt bunch of fucking worthless junk would scrap them all if I could only ranged weapons in the game worth anything are the corrupted merciless the moonlight bow the rifle you get from apac dunno what it's called I just call it black hole and that's it for non handgun ranged weapons But yea if the weakspot was just cause of god splitters bug then I'd say everyone should start doing it cause it hasn't been patched and if that's the case I don't even have to aim for the rib/armpit anymore I'll just start firing away

Bright steel ring is overrated. What limits your dodges is not their speed, as neutrals are always on the table, but your amount of stamina. High encumbrance from Leto MK2 still eats all stamina, as the ring does not help it.
Yeah and they're being the ring and increasing the stamina penalty for weight classes. Since it was bugged to be 15,30,45.. now it'll actually be 25,50,75
I only wear the Mk. II armor with the Ring of Omens with the appropriate amulet for the mist dodge which ignores carry weight. Couple that with the trait that extends your evade distance and you become very hard to hit.
Every boss battle I've seen shows the boss never attacking the player. When I fight a boss, it's on me like rain. I have no chance. It's disheartening for me. I'm sorry I purchased this game.

Back in the day somebody broke into my house and stole my PS2. I had a memory card in it that had all my saves. Most importantly a Final Fantasy X save with like 500 hours on it. I was more upset that they stole my memory card than the PlayStation. Every few years I still go back and beat FFX because it’s such a great game. Hang on to your shit. You might want to give it another go down the road.
Any tips for a single player without internet thats been stuck into the rock maze since release dosent matter what weapons I use or Armour or trinkents or boons to my heart ,or class combi ations i can get this early and fuck the grind for resources I die in 2 hits from any enemy technically 1 since I get stun locked and by the time I get control I've been hit a second time ,and forget fighting 3 or more enemies dont sugest the dog its fucking worthless all it dose is allow me to die in the same area 3 times in a row , I re rolled the world's i have and thier arguably worse than. They where before .
Choose easiest difficulty, and practice your rolls and step-backs. If you cant manage on easiest difficulty, than you need to do better my friend. Or wait until you have internet to play online. This game is a bit more forgiving when playing with others.

@@flying1dead155treat the game like diablo, you aren't really meant to go into nightmare or apoc without already having gear. Most people are better off learning on survivor and getting some traits and builds going before moving on to harder settings. If you are getting 2 shot on survivor then you need to level vigor and put some clothes on lol

My mantagora had displacer and I can't count how many times I got dropped off the map.
Full spec Sagittarius for sport. Full spec Enigma as reserve. Iron Greatsword for close work.
My guy is a solid regen build. I can tank a crazy amount of damage while in light armor.
I like the amulet core buster increased weak spot damage by 50% for 10 seconds after killing an enemy.

Sporebloom shotgun. You get it from from beating the game on nightmare I think. It's the hardest hitting shotgun at 600 power at level 10
