The basic reason for declaring any kind of modifications in the vehicle is the detrimental effect on the structural capability of the vehicle. Aerodynamics play a huge role when vehicles are at high speeds. Weight distribution (quantity as well as placement) again have an effect as to the drivability and manouverability of the vehicle. To understand how it effects movement on the road you can research across youtube to find various videos explqining the scientific principles.
Any time we are on the road the question is not about your safety but about the safety of the others. Anything which can tend to have negative effect is why it is prohibited. These are the reasons why the apex court has rendered the judgement with regards to after market safety grills and other modifications. For more information you can also take a look at MV Act. Nice really so neat and clean setup. I have been following both the channels and I must say Dhruv that your vlogs are always worth to watch for getting ideas, information and for knowledge. Keep up the good work. I also own a Maruti Eeco and converted it to a campervan, I keep making addition and changes to it. Now aapne ek chota sa healthy competition set kar diya among Eeco campervan last mein, I am in and very soon will give a good competition 😄

Quite surprising how well they have designed the Eeco. This is one big advantage a bread box design gets you, usable space.
One thing I would like to suggest, may be they can carry a simple Tarpaulin and three pipes (aluminum or white electrical ones). They can tie one end to the rear of the carrier and other end can be tethered to the pipes (one horizontal to balance it) with a a tie down. This can be a great help when cooking in inclement weather, without having to move the kitchen setup. Ofcourse, going by the way they have designed the setup, they probably could have a better solution for it.
