Danau toba harusnya niru como itali. Hotelnya direnovasi, perahunya jangan jelek, lalu yg paling penting ada ikan lumba lumba, paus, pinguin, kuda nil dan pesut dll haha.. Ada dibuat taman ria (wahana bermain), mall untuk food court, bank, apotik, money changer dll. Jujur ya, budaya batak mungkin tidak semenarik budaya bali bagi turis, tapi kalau soal nyanyi orang batak bisa diadu, jadi banyakin buat lagu lagu batak yg enak untuk diperdengarkan di toba biar eksotik. :) Horas..

I have to correct what one of the presenters said that the roof tip of Batak house is higher at the front than at the back. It is the other way around. The roof tip at the back is higher than at the front.
It symbolises that the next or the later generation should be better or higher in 3 major ways:
(1) material wealth and abundance (in Batak language: hamoraon),
(2) honor, glory, social status (hasangapon),
(3) the number of offspring (having many sons and daughters) (hagabeon).
Other thing, swimming and floating on the freshwater of the Lake Toba is more difficult than swimming/floating on a sea because of water density difference between freshwater and seawater. It can be proven using Archimedes theorem.
