I was thinking the same thing. I think it's disgustingly common these days. At least lower the backing track vocal in the mix so that it's predominantly raw live vocal.
I’m so glad someone said this! I was so frustrated to hear a backing track of Kellin singing his own harmonies playing behind him when he was singing lead during the second verse. Like bro there are two singers do we really need the backing tracks for harmonies ? its a live performance pretty sure fans expect the song to sound a little different. Weird
