So simple and so beautiful - thank you for sharing this! I found my rivoli was too big, so I removed the 15/0 beads, and added them to the 4mm beads first, popped in the rivoli, then added the 15/0 beads at the bottom while holding rivoli in place. Also, instead of two 15/0 between the 11/0 beads, I needed 3 to accommodate the bigger Rivoli, for a total of 27 15/0s underneath instead of 18. I was using miyuki. Hope that makes sense.
I found the same thing, a 14mm Swarovski was too big, but a 12mm fit fine with no changes. I think using Miyuki vs Toho is where the difference comes from.
Ok, Kara, I have been watching this video for 1 minute and 33 seconds and I am so excited already! I have been dying to bead some bezels around rivolis but have not done so yet. And to think that you are going to show us how to make many different ones is just so exciting. You are so talented and give wonderful instructions. Thank you so much, Kara!
This was my first time bezelling and you were so good at explaining each stage. Thank you so much. I used 4mm bicones and it still worked. I’m so happy 😁
Great tutorial! I love this bezel. It looks great and seems easy too. You have great tutorials. Thanks for your clear instructions and beautiful projects.
Awesome video, I can't wait to get back home to catch up on the latest videos you've put out! I have been traveling (grandchildren's graduations) and I have given away many of the beautiful things I've made from your tutorials. I get tons of compliments on your designs. I brought enough beads to continue working on project long necklaces so that's going great. Thank you for sharing another wonderful video with us!
Thank you this very easy, l had order lots of them and would use them because tutorials l saw was so hard to do them, thank you again 😊 Happy to use them now😊
Love this! Can’t wait to make one. I really enjoy your videos. You are a great teacher. I am somewhat new to beading so your videos are so helpful. How many beads would be needed for a 24mm flatback cabochon? I would like to make a large pendant like this 14mm. I am looking forward to more of your videos. Thank you for sharing your passion and expertise.
Hello Kara, It's a very beautiful project!! I would like to know how i could add a connector on the top to make a pendant. I am talking about the firepolished rivoli.Have an idea please?
Hi there, could you join my FB group and ask there and possibly add photo? Will try to help out and there are lots of members there that come up with brilliant solutions ☺️
Beautiful and simple design..💞 Can you make a tutorial for a bezel that's completely encased in the back, or how to get the foil from rubbing, or getting scratched off over a period of time?
my sweet english friend, i love this bezel of 14 mm rivoli, could tell me how many units needed for a 12 mm rivoli? after subscribed your channel i am looking at your video tutorials, they are all very useful, thanks for answer, love❤️❤️❤️
Hey Kara, I'm not sure What I could be doing wrong. I've done this pattern twice the 1st time I did it with miyuki seed beads, And forgetting that they were smaller than toho the rivoli didn't fit at all. Then I did it with all toho and it was still too small And I did exactly everything you did. Can you help lol
This bezel was easy to make but no matter how many passes and how tight I make the surround of Czech fp beads, the revolt keeps popping out. I ha e remade it 4 times. Help!
i dont know what i am doing wrong i used the exact size beads a but it is too small for the 14mm rivoli so i tried the 12mm but neither works the rivoli falls out what am i doing wrong i have followed you to a tee
Thank you 😊 I can see all clearly on phone screen, so the trick for you I think would be to watch on bigger screen, i e laptop or pc. If I zoom in even more while filming I will have hard time to keep in frame Xx
Thanks so much for this tutorial! This is the easiest bezel I have seen anyone do.

Thank you for explaining. It will be very useful for other beaders watching this if they come across same issue ☺️

Wonderful Tutorial, Kara! Not only is your video clear, you explain exactly where your needle is going and why. I so appreciate that! Thanks again.

I love this. I struggle following because I am left handed. I got this one on the first try! Amazing technique and wonderful pace in instruction.

Will this work with miyuki seed beads?

@@KarasBeads 👍
Stunning and it is so much less work than a full peyote bezel!
Thank you ... I look forward to the other techniques

Try to remove 2 units
I haven’t tried this technique on 12mm yet, let me know how it goes 💕

Hello Nancy
Can’t possibly tell where you went wrong 🤨😁
All I can suggest would be to add extra unit with firepolish before connecting it into circle
I will definitely try😃 thanks

Hi there, try to add another unit with firepolish before you close it. Hope it helps 😊
😍it but still feels not properly secured Rivoli otherwise 😎look🙌🏼
i dont know what i am doing wrong i used the exact size beads a

however, try adding extra unit with firepolish before connecting it into circle 😊
THANK tou for sharing 👏🏼
I cannot get my rivoli to fit, it seems to be too big. I am using a 14mm but I am using Miyuki seed beads. Do you think the Miyuki are too small?
Hello Stacy
Miyuki are known to be smaller than Toho. I’m afraid for this particular design, you have to use Toho 😬
okay thank you! :-D
I bought some Toho beads and it worked much better. It is so pretty. Thank you for your help!
Very beautiful love this bezel please could you zoom in a little bit beads are so small I have difficulty to see pretty please 2💕💕💕
Thank you 😊
