Nick it appears that left front fender seems to be not fitting correctly and with the left door improperly working then it appears that the car has been involved in a collision and repaired! Can you provide information about that? Good price but anyone with car experience knows that this car has been involved in a collision!
Or someone removed the fender for whatever reason and didn't line it up correctly when the installed it back.
Di electric grease works for stopping the squeak noise on the targa. I used it on my 09 vette.
Great looking Vette. Needs a little TLC, but what car doesn't. If you take care of your vehicle, you are always cleaning something, doing or adding upgrades, and that vehicle will not only last a lifetime but become gorgeous. Great to see y'all out riding. Love the Maple Motor's Family.
A Sunroof that pops out.. lol Okay Sir, its called a "Targa Top"
I like the vette, for the popping on the inside of the cab from the composite roof, because the lathes are not tight enough, so the positive pressure inside the car will keep it popping. For I think this car is so worth the money and it drives nuts for an easy fix.
Replace the O-rings on the pins for the top and the clicking and popping goes away! Looks like a great ride Nick, future congrats on the new baby!

Yep, definitely been wrecked, body isnt strait, that why all the extra noises coming from...drivers side front panel isnt strait..cud be possible frame damage
@@volt101x They all creak, you need to put some padding and lubrication in key areas to fix the creaking targa top.
With the door open pads you can take them apart and clean the contacts and they work 100% better after that. With the targa top the transparent top always makes noise regardless of the grease you put. The solid targa doesn't I have both on my 2007 3lt z51 corvette.

Beautiful car. I do believe that it has been in a minor accident along the left side that tweaked it a little.
Fender on the left side is probably out of wack because if a lip where the fender bolts underneath was
jack up on . Happened to mine after a shop used a floor jack to repair my tire. Easy fix to straighten it back up.
Finally building up the Corvette stock on the lot. You can never have too many Vettes! Especially older C2, C3s, but the C2s would put your median asking price through the stratosphere! And Maple Motors and moderate pricing are synonymous so you don’t want to screw up that formula. This C6 has a few problems as does any vehicle with over 100k on it and that is over 15 years old, but I look at those as character traits. As an older Air Force Disabled Veteran with a few miles on me this is the kind of car I could drive and spend a few hours wrenching on too without too much trouble. It would not be too costly to repair, however, I would like to see a Carfax to see the vehicle history and know what I was buying into. Been in a wreck on the left side.
And the paint is slightly different there.
Look up the Fox reports, for if the vin # if it has been entered, than you can find the report on this car. But you need the vin #, for that is the only way you will find out.
If someon paid cash to fix the damage, and no accidents reports were written there will be no accident history in vin check services..
Those transparent tops weren't Chevy original plans for those vettes. They had a ton of bad defective targets tops that would separate from the frames. So the fix was to replace all of them with those transparent ones.
Use rubber lube on the seals , new o rings on the studs with silicone grease , on the TARGA TOP and you will stop the noise worked on my c6

I hate those transparent roofs. I went with the solid roof on my c5
The sun just cooks you. I tried tinting it but no shop wants to risk tinting the acrylic material so back goes on the solid roof.

The transparent targa top is heavier than the solid top as well. Good choice going back to the solid top.
@@StormAutoAdventures Nah that's the only downside I hated about putting the solid roof back on. It's about 8lbs heavier than the thin acrylic roof.

C6 is arguably the best looking Corvette ever. Especially the wide body cars.
Not a fan of red but I gotta say it works on this car. This particular red and black combo is sharp.
Red was always the favorite color for a vette
It needs new roof latches. It is inexpensive and easy to fix. Silicone grease can temporarily quiet it down.

Someone drove it alot so most bugs should be worked out its cheaper than an impala SS use silicone grease on the weatherstrips

The Value Of A C6 Vette Must Have Drop On Value Under $20k For LS2 Targa Top C6 Corvette Must Seeing & Dreaming Thing's
Check service records if possible to see if the harmonic balancer was ever replaced. Common failure for the LS2 engine. Not a cheap repair either.
Get a Car Fax service record.
