Grazie Riccardo, un video che mi porta indietro nel tempo, al bellissimo passato vissuto li, quando ero un bambino prima di andare a vivere in una grande metropoli. Poi per fortuna da ragazzo sono sempre tornato a Soriano, dove ho passato le vacanze estive più belle della mia vita, e proprio in una estate di quelle ho incontrato Lei, il mio primo amore, indimenticabile nonostante il tempo che passa, ma questa è un' altra storia... Nel tuo video ho rivisto la porta della mia casa, i miei vicoli, e un pò mi sono commosso, pensando a tutte le persone a me care che il tempo ha portato via, e che sono passate per quei piccoli vicoli e stradine che tu hai ripreso con delicatezza e rispetto, per questo hai la mia stima e simpatia, e ti rinnovo ancora il mio grazie di cuore. Colgo l'occasione per dare delle piccole informazioni sull'evento che hai ripreso nel tuo video. La sagra delle castane esiste dalla fine degli anni 60 più o meno, con certezza non conosco la data della prima Sacra, e si svolge nel mese di ottobre, per essere più precisi il 2° weekend, ma anche nei giorni precedenti è interessante visitare Soriano mentre si prepara alla sacra. L' evento ha il suo culmine con la sfida per il Palio, che vede lottare i 4 rioni ( o si potrebbero chiamare anche contrade o anche piccoli quartieri, ) che formano il paese di Soriano nel Cimino, che sono: Il rione Rocca ( colori nero, rosso e bianco ). Il rione Trinità ( colori rosso e blu ). Il rione San Giorgio ( colori celeste e rosso ). Il rione Papacqua ( colori verde e rosso ). La sfida per la conquista dell'ambito palio è divisa in 2 gare, una con un fantino a cavallo e una con l'arco, quindi ogni rione schiera sia un fantino che un arciere, la somma dei 2 punteggi, determinerà il rione vincitore. Soriano è un paese meraviglioso, che invito tutti a visitare, ma forse è proprio nei giorni di sacra delle castagne per assurdo che perde un pò del suo fascino, che è dato nei giorni normali dal lento scorrere del tempo, dai suoi antichi vicoli deserti e silenziosi, e dalle sue vecchie case piene di storia, e una volta anche di vita, ma ormai molte deserte e vuote. Con Soriano sempre nel mio cuore, saluti da un vecchio ragazzo del rione Rocca.⚔

Sono davvero contento (ed onorato) di sapere, specialmente da qualcuno che li è cresciuto, di aver ripreso con delicatezza i luoghi della bellissima Soriano. Ho bellissimi ricordi di quella giornata e mi sono goduto la sagra a camere spente una volta finita la passeggiata e sono rimasto fino a sera a guardarmi intorno e ad immergermi nell'atmosfera di festa di quel giorno. Quando iniziai quasi per gioco era un metodo anti-stress diciamo, poi piano piano mi sono allontanato sempre più dalle mie zone vicino ai castelli romani. Ora , dopo 3+ anni, ho rallentato un po' il ritmo anche per via dei costi e del tempo (pubblico più raramente di prima) ma ho sempre intenzione di continuare e di non fermarmi - buon weekend allora e certamente con molto piacere un caffè ci sta sempre !

DAL NOSTRO PUNTO DI VISTA attuale, il Medioevo aveva il suo fascino. Era una vita molto piú tranquila e tradizionale. Grazie a Dio , problemi e tutto, anche loro si sono goduti la vita. Questo deve essere il motivo per cui questi tipi di celebrazione attirano cosi tanti turisti, comprese famiglie e bambini. E come visitare un museo vivente. Cittá massicia. Forte fortezza. Bellissimo castello. Interessante mostra di vecchi grammofoni. Meno male che la prigione aveva dei riscaldatori. Mi sono sempre preoccupato di quanto freddo dovessero aver sentito i monaci in inverno, con quelle tuniche senza pantaloni. Ambiente molto colorato. E anche interessante osservare la gente che pasa. Интересная и зрелищная прогулка по красивому городу в средневековом стиле с приготовлением каштанов, а также множеством старинных зданий, церквей и замком с выставками! 32:48 возушная прогулка на дельтаплане с мотором, тоже хорошо. Can just imagine that in mediaeval times it would also be the same, with people walking the streets. Love chestnuts, as we usually travel in the northern autumn, we always get chestnuts from the street vendors and eat them warm while people watching.🌰🧐 The old style chestnut preparation must be very tiring 🤔. Quite an extensive exhibition of the controversial Pasolini. Interesting exhibition of all things old. Dear Geraldine, nice to chat even here after whatsapp) Enjoable town indeed and quite a different experience from the usual walks for sure. Loved the exhibition of Pasolini (controversial is saying nothing indeed!) and the castle. About the prison... I was a little shocked actually as, I asked the tour guide after and they said they were used until the '80s (!!). Couldn't really imagine. Great town though, great atmosphere and love the chestnuts as well. Wish you a nice returning home Geraldine and as always let's catch up with our updates

Chestnut festival is amazing , they are celebrating it in a beautiful manner . Medieval costumes are so pretty and of course castle and exhibition are 👍👍 . You always show wonderful things 😀😀 very interesting . In India there are plenty of water chestnuts these days , Rs 40 / kg is price , we are Consuming daily . Here they come in two colours green and Red . Thanks and best wishes . Oh yes the prison was very Gloomy .
I was sure you'd enjoy this Rajyashree) Nice atmospjhere there even though it wasn't always easy to "navigate" in the crowd with the camera and all! But very enjoyble. I especially liked the castle and the exhibitions there as well as from the panorama from the top. Happy to have shown Sorano in its most famous festivel this time, and not like a normal walk. Didn't know about the 2 colours. I've always seen the brown one here. Interesting. They're quite cheap also here; we actually never buy them where I live because there are plenty of them all around the forests and it's just a few minutes and you can pick up a huge bag of them. A taste typical of autumn it is
@@rajyashreeyadav68 I live in a very small town Rajyashree and the trees nearby are so full of chestnuts it's incredible, also strawberries (the little ones) and blueberries as well. Not lemon or orange or similiar though, as it can get quite cold in winter. It's quite nice)

But perhaps it could show its "other side" , the quieter one, in an interesting way. Loved the castle and the exhibitions there too and the view from atop was truly "top" as well Clark. Glad you enjoyed also Soriano Ioana) Ah.. this was indeed a different one compared to my usual quiet walks in lonely towns. Enjoyble from time to time to film such places crowdy as this too I must admit. Town was very nice, the interior of the castla amazing, great festival as well too.

В октябре месяце в Италии довольно тепло, люди ходят в лёгкой одежде, а у нас уже холодно и люди на улицах одеваются в куртки, пальто и шапки.

Пафнутий, всегда рад тебя видеть, мой друг. В самом деле, это был такой мягкий погодный день, слишком теплый для первого октября. Эти последние дни были немного холодными, но даже сейчас снова довольно жарко и солнечно, говорят, до следующей недели. Как говорится, "последние приятные дни"... Сориано - действительно хороший город с фестивалем. Я обожал замок и выставки, я должен добавить. А вы меня знаете и мое увлечение авиацией)

@@StillWanderer да мне тоже нравится авиация, но я никогда не управлял каким-нибудь летательным аппаратом, а только прыгал с парашютом с вертолётов и лёгких самолётов.

Я прыгал с общевойсковыми армейскими (круглыми) парашютами.
Потом была возможность полетать вторым пилотом - учеником на самолёте "Як-52", но не успел.

Can just imagine that in mediaeval times it would also be the same, with people walking the streets. Love chestnuts, as we usually travel in the northern autumn, we always get chestnuts from the street vendors and eat them warm while people watching.🌰🧐
The old style chestnut preparation must be very tiring 🤔. Quite an extensive exhibition of the controversial Pasolini. Interesting exhibition of all things old. Thank you again for showing these parts of your country, Riccardo, that are not on the tourist track. Keep walking and wandering 🚶
Dear Geraldine, nice to chat even here after whatsapp) Enjoable town indeed and quite a different experience from the usual walks for sure. Loved the exhibition of Pasolini (controversial is saying nothing indeed!) and the castle. About the prison... I was a little shocked actually as, I asked the tour guide after and they said they were used until the '80s (!!). Couldn't really imagine. Great town though, great atmosphere and love the chestnuts as well.

Chestnut festival is amazing , they are celebrating it in a beautiful manner . Medieval costumes are so pretty and of course castle and exhibition are 👍👍 . You always show wonderful things 😀😀 very interesting .
In India there are plenty of water chestnuts these days , Rs 40 / kg is price , we are
Consuming daily . Here they come in two colours green and Red .

I was sure you'd enjoy this Rajyashree) Nice atmospjhere there even though it wasn't always easy to "navigate" in the crowd with the camera and all! But very enjoyble. I especially liked the castle and the exhibitions there as well as from the panorama from the top. Happy to have shown Sorano in its most famous festivel this time, and not like a normal walk. Didn't know about the 2 colours. I've always seen the brown one here. Interesting. They're quite cheap also here; we actually never buy them where I live because there are plenty of them all around the forests and it's just a few minutes and you can pick up a huge bag of them. A taste typical of autumn it is

@@rajyashreeyadav68 I live in a very small town Rajyashree and the trees nearby are so full of chestnuts it's incredible, also strawberries (the little ones) and blueberries as well. Not lemon or orange or similiar though, as it can get quite cold in winter. It's quite nice)

But perhaps it could show its "other side" , the quieter one, in an interesting way. Loved the castle and the exhibitions there too and the view from atop was truly "top" as well Clark. Enjoyble place for sure.
