THIS is what I needed! I was using just a waver and not getting the look I wanted..so the waver essentially add the base volume and the curls on top give that look I've been really wanting, without all the work. Can't wait to try this soon!
Can't not believe I have waisted so much time curling my hair and watching about a thousand curling videos and seen this tried it and it's so easy and quick I've had a crimper like this for years and hated it due to the look it gave me like a child! But with curling the top like this I finally can do it thank you so much no more looking at curling videos woohoo xx

I love your curling technique! I tried the Bed head beach wave curling iron for underneath hair and it saved so much time! I used a 1-inch hot tools gold curling iron for the top part. I loved the results! I was thinking of ordering the curling iron you show here. I have medium length hair to my shoulder, my hair is naturally wavy and fine and hard to hold a curl. Should I order the 1 inch or the 1.25 Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium curling iron?

I know this is a very old video but hopefully you'll see this and respond. Why don't you use the waver for the top layer of your hair? Wondering if there's a specific reason why you don't do that. To me it'd be quicker and easier to do that, but I'm sure you have a specific reason that you aren't using the waver. Your hair looks absolutely great and I love the tutorial.

Honestly from your ears down or anything you can’t fit into the Waver then just skip! Then when you are finished , spray the texture spray upwards into your ends so they look textured!

I bought the waver and the curling iron and followed every step but it always turns so “curly” and there is no “wave”…what am I doing wrong?

how would you incorporate bangs with this look?
Erin Sears follow the tutorial as normal and the in would take the sides of your bangs and curl them away from the face and just style your bangs as you normally would :)

Maybe I missed why you said this (the video is long so I may have drifted in and out) why did you do the “skinny curls” in the front and use the regular iron on top instead of using the waver?
I use the skinny iron so that it gives the appearance that you curled your entire head with the beach curl method, but significantly less time! :)

Honestly.... I would get the Blue one... 1st gen has a smaller wave and the 2nd gen has a bigger wave... I love both but for long hair I like the 2nd Gen and for short hair I like the 1st!

Yes, but I would recommend blow drying your hair straight then waving your hair so you don’t add to much damage! :)

Can I just use the bed head iron for all of it? Will I not get similar results?
It will just look like a 3 barrel if you use just the bed head iron, but if you incorporate the curling iron as well, it will look like you curled your hair without all the work :)

Do you prep your section with the texture spray? You could also use a smaller curling iron!
I use a 1" Babyliss and my hair won't hold a curl with it either! And I use the Unite Texturiza... I can't figure out the issue!

No but a light oil would keep it not looking frizzy and dry!

Yes! Texturiza is great for all hair types! :)

Got this and it cut my time in half. Have to master the back of my hair more but 1st time turned out good.

I just bought the wavy iron and I’m so excited! I have a family portrait next week so I’m trying to figure out how to fix my hair. Hahah if your hair ends up really big I would put some oil in your hands, rub your hands together and run your fingers through your hair. That might help tame the beast :) haha

I use this wave iron all the time, I’m obsessed and get so many compliments. Use the wave iron upside down, the bed head words facing down it gives you more volume. I do my entire head, just don’t leave it in as long around the top and around face. I also use texture spray then spray again when I’m done. I also do it how you are, looks so pretty on you! I was glad to see a tutorial from you ❤️

What do you mean by upside down? Like holding it vertically instead? :)
she means the flatter part of the iron (the bottom) would be on the top when you are crimping your sections. the logo should be facing down. i do this too.
I'm glad I found this video! I had a wedding to go to today and this turned out pretty well for me. It also cut down on the time I would have taken if I had curled all my hair.
You have bleached hair that curls easily--some of the rest of us have harder to curl hair, so we'd have to leave the waver and curl iron in longer!

I love your hair sooo much! I know this is am old video. But What would you advice to put in for protection? Bec there are so much sprays that dont protect or there are oils in them And that make your hair burn faster. But also it makes your hair weigh down. I want to protect but also something that gives hold to my hair
