  • Today is Independence Day. The true origin of this anniversary is overlooked. We must maintain our understanding of where we come from, so we can be impactful in the direction we are going as a nation of free people. Please read your Declaration Of Independence, or listen to me read mine.

Do you truly believe that going back over the text will enlighten anyone in this day and age? I believe I understand what your intentions are but do you think, perhaps, there are other ways to talk about this that might be more helpful?

My intention is to remind and inspire, not so much to enlighten. I think that people are so disconnected from, and unfamiliar with the text that it's important to see and hear it.
There are definitely other ways to talk about this that could be more helpful and effective. I think a breakdown by section, with parallels to modern day events would bring some understanding to people. Some people just need to see someone DOING something in order to do it themselves. Thank you for asking.

@@thepurposeprojectpodcast I have been talking about the importance of having faith in freedom itself, the importance of what we believe, and how the Declaration of Independence was an act of religion that informed and empowered the works of government that followed after. Any interest in a conversation about that?
