Parulekar sir, You and your team have done a great job. Everyone should follow this example. It is a great thing that you are teaching students to use their education for the benefit of the society
Thank you for documenting this project! A few questions: I am curious what the approximate costs for materials and labor were to build a cistern of this size? Has there been any noticeable cracking since it was completed? What kind of maintenance for the life of this tank and how do you clean it? Lastly, from this project or for anyone else experienced in building these cisterns, what ideas in material & design would be the next version of this -- to take it to the next level? Thanks again!
A good Master has a only vision for the upliftment and betterment of his students And also being productive to the society at the same time Very well Parulekar Sir Great job 👍
Excellent. I think this will be very much helpful for small villages where tankers cannot reach and water can be be stored by pumping from tankers from downsides.
Can you help me dping the same in my farm? My farm is near dolkamb in thane dostrict. I have a 70ft by 70 ft khadda dug in my farmland 8 ft deep. I want to build a tank and store water for my farming needs.
Nice. But one very important observation. Since the circular wall was not compacted using proper formwork and shuttering, it's not a proper rcc structure, what will happen after some time the water from tank will corrode the steel rods and chicken mess making the structure weaker and ultimately crack.

Great work. Congratulations to all contributors.
I don't have any background in Civil engineering but I must say this might be a cost effective solution for water storage.
VERY Nice.
Very Good Work by the Young Engineers. I AM SURE this practical experience is very helpful to these youngsters.

Civil advice required.
Can we make a water pond using this technic.
Size around 125×125 feet and 20 feet slop wise deep.
We can construct water pond but first we have to visit site location ,because size is more and we have to study ground strata.
Well done. Dun dun dun tst.
What will be the cost to build 1.5m and 6m fish tank
