You left out quite a few spots that are a must experience such as hiking and jaw dropping views from Lands End and Coastal Trail behind Legion of Honor, the incredible view from the rocks behind Randall Museum overlooking the entire city, the view from atop Buena Vista Park, the view from atop Twin Peaks and of course - the postcard jaw-dropping view from atop the very high-up Marin Headlands where you take in the Golden Gate Bridge with the stunning City by the Bay behind it. The later is one of the most stunning views anywhere in the world. It is so magical and calming that you can sit there for hours just taking it all in. Don't forget Golden Gate Park which rivals Central Park in its beauty and activities to explore. Nevertheless, you saw and shared a lot. San Francisco has SO much to do and see that it could take a full year just to experience it all. The entire Bay Area is one of the most wonderful places to experience. It doesn't stop in the city either - there's even more across the Golden Gate in Marin County up to Sonoma and Napa Counties (wine country). Then there's the areas south of The City such as Big Sur, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Carmel by the Sea and Pebble Beach. I hope you get to go back and explore more. Again, awesome video and commentary. Thanks for sharing. It made me miss my City by the Bay!!!!
Oh how I do love visiting there. The food is absolutely amazing. There is this one little place down a hill on the beach where the ocean is beautiful. There is a huge tunnel where the waves crash beneath you and there are little pools filled with crabs and cute little creatures. Having your family in San Leandro is convenient.
Been living in the bay for 11yrs, & I can't believe I haven't been to presidio!! It looks beautiful, definitely my next stop. Marin highlands are a great view too!

Hey Tim, thanks! I've been using a Nikon D5100 with the kit lens for a couple years now since I started doing HD, then editing using Adobe Premiere and doing some color correction using that. To be honest though, I'm getting very close to upgrading though because I feel like the D5100 has really run it's course. It's the most inexpensive DSLR with a mic input, but I think the video quality has some real limitations that I think would make a huge improvement with a step up in models. Namely, I'm not very happy with the exposure control in video.
Ah should have gone to El Faralito or Gordos! Those are the staple Mexican restaurants in SF. Also, Mitchell’s for ice cream, and mr Holmes bakery for pastries in the AM. Love our city!! And THANK YOU for not calling it, “San Fran.” Ughhhh! Lol!
There is a great little mexican restaurant on post ave in Westbury LI called Little Mexico. They give you free nachos with all the salsas and picante and all that you want. Plus big portions at reasonable prices. Very good stuff. As close as you can get in the NYC area!
You do a fine job of getting at the unique visiual beauty of San Francisco in a way few are able to. You are showing a beauty that few cities can match. The only down side to San Francisco is, from what I hear, is that it is SO expensive that it can no longer afford a young population of people doing a lot of creative things (unless successful in tech) as well as the loss of working class population, that it lost something essential to it's former uniqueness. As someone I knew once said that San Francisco has become the ultimate city of the $6.00 muffin.

I must warn u a few things. 1. dont go wandering around at night if u dont know the neighborhood. be careful of your belongings 2. it will be dirtier than u expected. there are a lot of homeless people and drug addicts in some neighborhoods but if u know where to go u will have a nice time. marina district. north beach. are pretty clean spots 3. there are MANY hills. get ready to walk.

Growing up in the Bay Area I'd have to say go to San Francisco is one of the best cities in the U.S. I have been to LA a few times and even though I have been to San Francisco a countless number of times, I would go there over LA any day! San Francisco is packed with attractions, beauty, great food, and an extremely different culture in comparison to LA and other parts of the world. Come to SF!
The Brooklyn of San Francisco is Oakland, not the Mission. I thought everyone knew that. SF is Manhattan, Oakland is Brooklyn, i.e. gentrification galore and really cool uprising restaurants and techies. Matter of fact, since SF is now the country's most expensive city, all the old school residences have been living in Rockridge (Oakland) for some time, and of course, hippie Berkeley. (Berkeley is like Haight to the extreme, could've bought some hippie beads). Too bad you didn't go, the subway would've taken you right there.
Ah that's right, I get those comparisons wrong all the time. Maybe Oakland is actually Bushwick? Well, I was there for 4 days (two of which for a conference), but hopefully I'll be back soon to explore more.
Thats cool. Should've came over to Berkeley though, that's a tourist area's treat. Its usually for the tourists who are willingly to leave downtown SF. Oakland is sweet, but like Brooklyn there are places you should go, and places you shouldn't--at least not at night.

Not really, when I got there on Wednesday it was hot and sunny, then it cooled down the following days, but still nice and sunny all the time.
