    Wind post is to provide support to long panels of brickwork, or panels with small returns before an opening, long straight runs of brickwork are weak against horizontal force, wind for example, !

    Top banana Budd 👍. I love a project like that, apart from the faff of the wind posts of course. They cause so much trouble sometimes, they could drive you up the wall 😩. Apart from that it looks a nice little job for you 👍

      @@garyandrews6376 The thing is that they haven’t stood the test of time & I can’t help but wonder if acidic soils will eat away at the material they are made from? It’s not as if they are like bricks which obviously are clay then fired in a kiln!
