I have for my entire life, and I still have depression. it's a mental condition, and something God gave me to see the struggles... because when I am sad everything is grey and miserable, and when I am happy everything is so much brighter than it is for most people. Please don't talk to me about needing salvation because I already have it. This isn't how christians are supposed to act, saying mental illnesses don't exist just because you don't know the joy of God. while that can help a lot, yes, some people still have lots of problems. I have clinically. diagnosed. depression. I take meds for it, and I'm not expecting you to understand... but don't go around saying it's just because I'm God-less, because I am FAR from it.
