This did not work for me. After restarting the PC vgc was still "stopped" followed all the steps again and without restarting played one match, then the game crashed again with the same error code "VAL 5", checked the vgc and it's again "stopped". Any thoughts? Startup type is set to "automatic" as stated in the video

@@kir7719 I submitted a ticket and the response I got was basically issues with my ISP. I was playing in a different region than where I'm physically located (to play with friends). I created another account on the actual region I'm in (to test) and so far I've had no issues. They did offer to change my account region, said I would lose all progress (not sure what this means) but keep all purchases.
