Letting go of a pet is hard

4/26/2018: Today was the day I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog of 17.5 years of age. Completely drained, I felt compelled to tell my experience of the event, its aftermath, and all of the feelings that I was experiencing and share them as a thank you to all of my Facebook friends.
