Thanks for sharing. I am in the process of restoring an Hensel Minerva guitar. It is interesting to see other models being worked on.
Very nice work. I just got mine fixed up by Ted Woodford. They are great guitars.
Good old Uncle Ted, he is one of the greatest.
Good video and a great repair/refurb.A wonderful tone also, subbed for more videos!!
Great job on this!
Very nice. Viewed one of these A&H guitars today but it was beyond my skill set to repair. Still kind of want to pick it up but seems like it would be too pricey to have repaired. Bowed neck & crack in side of body. Beautiful guitars.
Great video and craftmanships.
More Please!!!
That was such a satisfying video. It was amazing seeing all the tools you use. You are a master at your craft. Please make some more videos!
Really nice, bravo !
A really nice video and great playing. Reminds me of twoodfrd's channel.
All that carving on the peg head, but Hensel doesn't sand or taper or scallop the braces? But nice restoration. Very dry sound, Blues axe.
What a lovely video and end result. Lots of care taken, thanks for sharing the process and your thoughts. Have you seen twoodfrd's Hensel projects?
Thanks for the kind comment and yes I have seen the other Hensel projects.
I have this same guitar. It had nylon strings on it years ago. I thought it was a classical parlour not a steel string acoustiic
Bridge pins are a good indicator the guitar was built for steel strings because back then nylon strings did not have ball ends.
