Sir, is it dilute HNO3 or conc. HNO3 which is added to the extract before testing halogens. If it is dilute then why do we boil it in conc. HNO3 first?
I will be appearing in NEET this year. As I see it and as I have noticed in multiple PYQs, reactions aren't meant to be learnt word by word with their stoichiometry,rather you should remember the important products formed and the T and P conditions given if any, and the catalysts used if any.
