This movie and Florence Pugh just blew my mind. One of the very best movies I have ever seen. Unbelievable feeling when you can connect with a movie on this level. This movie should have won every award. Just wow.
I just watched this movie. I literally cried the entire way through. As a recovering addict myself, it really spoke to me. Beautifully acted. A must see.

He seems really genuine and serious about what he does
To think he was going through that and at the same time the world was attacking him because they thought he was too old for Florence, and look how much he loves and respects her.

Wrong message. There is not always hope, and it's pointless to expect anyone to ''rescue'' you. People can help you but not ''save'' you. Processing grief is not about finding ''hope''. There is no hope in coming to terms with the loss of your loved ones. It's not as simplistic as ''finding hope journey''

Grief affects all of us at some point. Sounds like he lost at least a few people in his life.
