Btw your old personal graphics card had thermal compound clogging up a part of your graphics card. That's why your zotac gaming graphics card thermal performance was bad
I don’t think I could put anymore Philips Hue in the room. Never pay full prices for these. You can pick up the 3 bulbs with dimmer set for around £50 on some deals and if you don’t care about new. You can pick up the bargains at Amazons Warehouse.
One thing which is pretty unfortunate. As much as I would love to fall in love with that, it is amazing, but .... the FPS takes a hit. Speaking for TimeSpy Extreme 4k with 5950X and MSI 3090 gaming X, the results with HueSync disabled are ~10 000, HueSync enabled - 9200. That's pretty much 10%. If you go gaming the 4K way, you disable it, since 10% is quite a lot in 4k. I only happen to have the HueSync on only when not gaming :/

Oh yeah, it also wont work with built in apps like Netflix or Prime, only HMI sources. Or you can buy the Govee lightstrip and camera combo which does the same thing for about £60/£70. And it will work with anything you throw at your TV as it uses a small camera on top of your TV.
I want to buy the Gradient lightstrip but can you switch the side of colors you see on the Gradient lightstrip? For example.. To make sure the right light of your Gradient lightstrip is the same color as the right side of your monitor and viceversa?

Honestly, I only watch the videos because they are very good and are good quality. Could you please make more budget builds in the future after the gpu crisis is over because you are building all these Hella expensive pcs and it is quite annoying because you need to realise that some viewers don't have the endless budgets that you have. I think your light strip is fixed too close to the edge of your tv ... it makes a big difference to your gaming experience, the hue HDMI sync box is great add also . Great video and nice setup.
When the 3080 was announced, I had just received an MSi gaming X trio 2070 super, as a replacement for a faulty Zotac amp extreme 1080ti. I wasn’t that bothered about the 20 series so hadn’t bothered to upgrade. For some reason when the 30 series was announced, I started to want the 2080 Ti gaming x trio. I woke up 1 morning at 5am, and an add had just gone up for a 4 month old Msi gaming x trio 2080ti . I messaged the guy and drove 1 hour to pick it up that morning. For £450!! Ended up been a steal. I sold my 2070 super for a fair price (I think) of £350. Moving forward. I bought a 3070 the other day for £669 from scan uk. The aorus master. And sold the 2080 Ti for £750. I did t try to scalp and genuinely believe it is worth that price it sold within an hour. The same card sells on eBay for over £900 believe it or not. So I essentially got the 3070 for free! I kind of wish I had kept the 2080ti lol I prefer it. Sorry if you don’t care 😝 just thought it was a mad situation. My goal is to get the 3080 anyway. But they are near impossible. If I do manage to get one. I will be selling the 3079 at cost price.
