So lonely, this 71-year old guy, especially after having parotid cancer surgery and waiting for radiation to begin-I came across this, the latest Gilstrap a little while ago. Living alone without any moral support, even for this Vietnam vet, my day can now begin to cause me to smile, yes, even to smile with having this type of facial surgery done. To all of you out there living a normal, and possibly a happy life-do not take anything for granted. Thank you Derek, in behalf of all those other thousands of people experiencing some/many of “those rather unpleasantries” of living. We need to NOT dwell on all the negatives of day-to-day living, but rather be thankful-there is always a lot to be thankful for. We need but to remember these.
