    Finally! A daughter with a backbone that stands up to her toxic mother! Usually, the daughter or DIL are so docile and rarely ever stand up for themselves against their abuser. This was a nice change of pace! I feel kinda bad for the father, he got caught up in the cross fire between these two and lost his only daughter because of their fight.
    Can you imagine your own children cutting ties with you and not knowing anything about it?

    Don’t you think your precious brother is the golden child by now? Your mom does not appreciate you!!!! Have a better life for yourself. Time to move out. Let Golden Boy pay for everything now. Time to take your money and apply it towards your future. For example, go to college and get a degree. There are a lot of people that get an education later on in life. Go on a month long vacation to think about what you want to do? You deserve taking care of only you. Let your mother find out, on her own, what a Gem she abused. 😂 I would leave the house skipping and dancing. 😂😂😂

    I wonder if Maya kept in contact with Wayne, their earlier conversation didn't imply that there was any hostility between them, so I wonder if she still talks to him or not.
    And Wayne pretty much cut ties with his parents too, seeing as he disappeared. With his salary, he could probably survive just fine on his own. It won't be as glamorous as his sister's new life with her high paying job and penthouse apartment, but I'm sure he can get by now that he has to live like an actual adult.

    basically her mom tell her she's useless and all and she stays there and keep giving away 95% of her salary. Took her forever to finally wake up. How spineless can you be. Stories like this of dumb people being taken advantage of, i feel they deserved it for their stupidity.

    Daughter is 30 years old and still at home, mention younget brother moving, but had problem with moving herself. Understand she is helping support family while living at home but she has to be forced to move to her own place. Many stories have adult children asking why parents want them out instead of being glad parents want them out.

    I graduated college at 22. I registered with temporary employment agencies and scrambled to get work experience and a paycheck. Four years later, with 4 years of work experience I moved out and far away. Meanwhile, my older brother. "father's golden boy" who had dropped out of college at age 21, was at that time, 31 and still living at home. I never went back. I got a career, married, a 30-year mortgage, and started a family. My lazy, alcoholic, pothead, college dropout bachelor older brother was kicked out at age 37.

Then take ninety-five percent of their salary as penance for you, causing the problems in the first place

    He earns $600 a month? If you double of for a full time job $1200 a month or $14 400 a year. What is the minimum wage there? It is under half what it is the minimum wage is here in Australia. Even $2 000 a month is below minimum wage out here by some margin.

      He is working part time. That could be as little as 10 hours a week. I don’t know where this is set but where I live in the US minimum wage is 13.80 an hour. Full time minimum wage would be 29k a year. My 18 year old just got her first job out of HS (she is going to college in the fall) and she’s making 14 an hour plus tips

      @@BusArch42 that's less than welfare out here. Rent starts about $500 a week for a bedsit. It must be the low wages in 3rd world countries.

    • @BusArch42
      @BusArch42 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@stevenmcglinn5954 it’s all relative. You can get a really nice 1 bedroom apartment in a good area for 1200 a month where I live. A studio is even less. So it’s 60% of your rental cost. That means your wages go further. Our food and transportation are cheaper too. At minimum wage, you pay no taxes only 10% social security. So your monthly check is 2175. Assuming you get a 2 bedroom and a room mate (which almost everyone does) you are looking at 750 a month for rent which is 34% of your take home pay. Not easy but doable.
