Cool. I wish we had our own Coke bottling plant that used returnable bottles or that there was some other bottling plant nearby that sold their own glass-returnable sodas. That would be so cool.
@LSDodgers I somewhat agree with you. Coca Cola doesn't even give the customers what they want. As you can see in this video, the workers are enjoying a nice, cane sugar, glass bottled Coke. This is what the general public want nowadays, yet Coca Cola is only interested in their profits so they are not making the switch. This is one reason why I only drink Mexican Coke.
PS--Mexican Coke is giving usa Coke a run for it's money in some places. Where I live (New Cumberland, PA) the cooler with Mex Coke sells out quickly--I'm the one who asked the manager to start stocking it.
0:54 - creepy guy on left leaves no room for creepy guy on right to get his bottle top off....not to mention the "moment of shared refreshment" soon to follow...
I agree! I only drink Mexican Coke. Ar $1 for glass bottle it's actually cheaper than those silly plastic American Coke bottle with the high fructose corn syrup. In some US cities you can buy Coke in a bottle from over 20 countries. Immigrants are delighted to find Coke from their old homeland.
Sure, but $1 is still too much money. If you compare it to the 2 liter bottles - you are getting a better deal because the 2 liter bottles run about $1.50. A true glass bottle Coke should be 25 cents. Recently Coke Winona just stopped their returnable bottling process in which a 6.5 ounce glass returnable Coke only cost 25 cents!!! That's the way it should be!! Just like in this video where they are paying 5 cents for a Coke..... with inflation that would be about 25 cents!

WHAT A CRAZY & CLASSIC OLD SKOOL "REFRESHING" COMMERCIAL!
Interesting how none of those 1950s fashions would really be out of place in 2015, especially the men's outfits and hairstyles!

This makes perfect sense. Coca-Cola actually serves to enhance job safety. Of course.
“Top management was in on it.”
