I don't know Shane didn't have any dreams or goals I think his main goal was trying to kill himself. But as the player you prevent that which is the sweetest thing ever.

I was shocked that Elliot seemed like the less popular bachelor choice. I thought his character was so sweet and silly, and he even after moving onto the farm, he still wrote books and went on a book tour! I nearly cried when he said “I plan to teach our son to read right away” like how can you NOT love the man
A lot of people, myself included, really dislike the side profile for his images. Some of us who like the character will turn to mods to rotate his face

@@saraaleixo7059 i current use the one that makes the npcs "cute" out gives them seasonal outfits, change Sandy and Elliot to a 3/4 view, and gives you the option to remove your nose. I like MOST of it, but I think that Elliott's portrait makes him look too young. It's based off of his earlier designs and lacks a few important design details like his dimples and cleft chin. It DOES give him a gay little earring, which is great because I'M a gay little man
I had a similar initial take on him. His dialogue line from the first Egg Festival came to mind, "Taking breaks can make you more productive in the long run." Like, that type of person who thinks they're So Deep but they're really not. But I'm starting to change my mind on that, because I can see how he'd use book quotes and stuff he's read to kind of adjust to being around other people (which I've done), and he may struggle with socializing. Now, he's basically what I look for in a partner in real life.
Saw his character portrait and didn’t pursue him at first because I thought he was out of my league. Almost proposed to Sebastian before I started pursuing Elliot (funnily enough I had unknowingly gotten to 7 hearts by that point).
I was expecting this to be a meme video where it was all peaceful and then the farmer bursts out to buy stuff and forage but I got something even better.
Seriously. I was waiting for the bizarre gremlin that runs everywhere and throws fruit and gemstones at people's faces to burst out of nowhere and sprint past. Instead I just got teary eyed at the sweet ending
elliot is literally the sweetest spouse he's always telling you how much he loves you and always just saying sweet things to the player, most underrated bachelor.
oh I should marry him next. I married Harvey first, and now I'm married to Alex. I don't even remember why lol. He's so not my type with all the weight lifting haha
why elliot is better then people think He is so compassionate. He is so creative He is warm He is friends with the two people who live the farthest from towns. Leah who is self isolating and willy who often feels like he doesn't fit well with the rest of town. He doesn't judge them and infact understands them and it head cannon that they are major influences in his book just like farmer is. He is a late game suiter so if you want a fast story yes its hard to woo him since all his loves are gotten way second year at earliest but if you like a slow deep love story build up he's perfect
I just married with Elliott in the game yesterday and saw this today! The weeding is on early Fall of second year. In the first year, I was so focus on my farm and I only started to communicate more with everyone during second year, Elliott is in my right timing I guess 😆 After we moved in tgt, he helps me water the plants and makes coffee for me, he's perfect ❤️

This is the most beautiful Stardew Valley fan-work I've ever seen. I love how you pictured areas from different angles, like giving the farm a gate from the bus stop. I never even thought about the entrances to the farm like that. I'm so impressed!
I just started playing Stardew and I'm so surprised Elliott is not liked. Could barely find a TH-camr who did Stardew playthroughs that liked him and did not call him mean things. I'm so happy to see a very high viewed and highly liked video her eon TH-cam that shows how lovely life is in Stardew with him. You captured it perfectly thank you so much
i never got why he seemed to be disliked, a lot of people say he's pretentious, and he does like high-class things and uses flowery language, but i've never read him as thinking he's better than other people for it, at least not in a malicious way, at his worst he's just an oblivious drama queen, which isn't a bad thing will never get why shane is loved and elliott is hated, i have nothin against shane but still
It’s so strange seeing all the places I know and recognize in the bright setting you’ve drawn. I feel like I’m in a dream and at the same time, it almost feels like this is what Pelican Town is supposed to be. This was fantastic, thank you for this.
i had to add mods to get something resembling a place more um warm,relaxing and inviting but i love it now the original map was too bright and gaudy for me
this honestly made me cry. as a kid (and teenager) my family's had to move around a lot and i've never lived in the same place for more than four years. obviously, this makes it hard to keep friends, so once we move away i usually never hear from them again. i always wished that i could have the experience of growing up in one spot, having a place so familiar that you could leave for ten years and it would still feel like home. on top of all that, my little sister was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and it just felt like everything was falling apart. its probably the lowest i've ever been and the only time where i really considered unaliving myself just to escape it. Stardew valley has been one of the few constants in my life. its very comforting to know that no matter how much time passes, or how long i go without playing, Abigail will still be eating rocks and Demetrius will still be a jerk. every time one of the villagers says something nice to me, or is grateful for a request i completed, it makes me feel warm inside. it feels silly that a little farming RPG game has made such a huge difference in my life, but it really has. and this animation really helped bring it all to life, and it's very beautifully done! thank you

I never would've imagine marrying Elliott as a first time player of SV but seeing this makes me want to marry him in my first play!!! This exactly portrays how he wonders around the town and the town so beautiful, I love it very much and the scene by the ocean where he closed his eyes... So heartwarming~ Thank you for this video!

this video basically saved me. i don’t know if you’ll see this but i actually watch this video whenever i’m feeling suicidal. whenever i lose all motivation and just feel like dying. the lyrics, especially: “there’s a place beyond the furthest cloud, there’s a message in the wind. and when you dream that big and you’re not afraid to live, there’s a place where all the stories begin.” helps me clear my mind. life is most certainly difficult, but if i’m not afraid to take risks and just live, i can achieve anything. those lyrics along with the video, help me reminisce about traveling to places like stardew valley one day. i have a lot of dreams, but they can all easily be forgotten once i enter my depressive state. but just with a click of a button to this video, i can feel whole again. thank you for making this video, and saving me. have a great day. 💝

This animation actually makes me appreciate Elliot's character a lot more than the whole game did. I feel like from now on, I'll see him in a different way. It's like seeing a "behind the scene" of the game. Definitely glad this video popped up in my recommended, and I'd love to see more, without any time pressure for you, of course. I love Elliot. He’s mature & emotionally responsible. He’s in the same boat as you - you both came to Stardew chasing your dreams and your both somewhat outsiders there. Elliot can’t be bothered with the superficial layer of society. He’s honed in on his dreams 100% - and it’s attractive. Other characters like Alex, Sam, Shane, and Clint all have growing up to do. In a way they’re all too focused on themselves and their status in the context of society. They have ego issues. Not in terms of being cocky but in terms of being too self-absorbed and not outwardly, objectively focused. Elliot is clearly a Buddhism kind of guy.

I think he's the best bachelor. He's just so different than the others. Alex, who's literally a damn musclehead. There's Sebastian who's a smoker. Then Sam who's pretty normal. Now this is only my perspective of them. I haven't actually married them and checked their different dialogs. But you know, first impressions are always a big deal
@@daqtheduck6296 I've only married Sebastian in the game but a lot of the bachelors/bachelorettes get more of a personality when you increase their friendship with you. For Sebastian you start to learn he feels second fiddle to his half-sister, Maru, and wants to leave the valley to go into the big city which is the exact opposite of our character at the beginning of the game. If you do marry him he does say he will quit smoking and he does. you'll mostly see him either working on his motorcycle or working on his computer.
I love marrying Elliott, too, but it's bothering me he's making sarcastic comments all the time. Like, they're so sweet he sounds like a troll, not a loving husband

OMG!!! This is so beautiful! Elliott is my first husband in my first ever farm in Stardew Valley. I have just started playing and I just love him so much. As a (frustrated) writer, his aspirations inspire me and is what ultimately attracted me to him. I was so sad when I found out people didn't like him much because they find him boring. But I think his simplicity and calmness is what I needed and what I really loved. Thank you for this wonderful thing!

I am between Shane and Elliot. Shane is so in pain and when you dating him he will be nice person and stop drinking. If you break up with him he says ‘I should have known it’ it makes me super sad🥺 when I marry Shane in the morning he says ‘I can’t believe you love me how’ etc. But also Elliot is so nice and chasing his dreams even though nobody supports and believes him. The moment he finished his book and read everyone is so emotional for me🥺
@@eionezgi Other games that tried to pull this off never got the hang of it. You fall in love with these characters - you can’t help it. I think that’s why we all keep coming back…there will never be another Shane in some other video game. I love saving Shane too, for the record. His storyline is definitely the best. I love how much my character can relate to Elliot though - they’re both outsiders chasing their dreams. Sebastian relates to who I really am as a person. Grandma Evelyn even reminds me of my own grandma. I love this game so much.
Firstly, just how you have captured the town is just amazing, it's so life like a d it gives so much dimension to the art of the game!!! And Elliott, he looks so kind and just cosy!!! And the farmer is the cutest, especially the hair!! But my favourite part has to be how when Elliot is sitting on the bench near Willie's house and it's his side profile and the song says 'me' he closes his eyes!!! Just beautiful and outstanding, even the feelings coming through just the song (which is beautiful as well) and the characters no dialogue

Honestly, i love Elliott so much. Its dumb, but it felt like slowly falling in love. In the beginning of the game i would always fish to get some money, so i would interact him him more and more. Fish next to him, watch him in the beach as i foraged, i have really good memories and it felt all so natural. The video is amazing, and made me feel really warm inside, he deserves so much love

If only I draw comics I'd surely be very inspired to write and draw my own Elliott's route doujinshi because of you 😭 and you already snagged the animation version so I don't have to! I'll keep dreaming lol!! You literally made and envisioned what I've been playing for several hundreds of times in many files over and over again but can't picture clearly. I always choose Elliott and I always am a male in-game for some reason and idk why but after watching this, THIS IS WHY 😭. If I'm Isekai'd into SV this will be me watching at how dreamy Elliott makes my new farming life be. Calming and magical. And part II aka up till the ending will be when we have a date at the cinema each new season, meets at the island at the beach after I work on the island farm for a bit, knowing he sometimes do the farm works I didn't manage to do yet and we exchanging gifts almost daily, and lastly have the mountain peak date to view the world together someday. His corner of the room might not be complete and well organised but he's still a good helper at home and the farm, and he's a helpless romantic lol. What more can I ask for?

I think I needed this. Life's just been so frustrating for so long and I've been depressed for as long as I can remember. I started playing Stardew Valley over the Summer and I'm really enjoying it. Elliot was the first bachelor I married in game and watching him go through his day just made me smile. He's so sweet and it's a shame more people don't give him a chance.

He is friends with the two people who live the farthest from towns. Leah who is self isolating and willy who often feels like he doesn't fit well with the rest of town. He doesn't judge them and infact understands them and it head cannon that they are major influences in his book just like farmer is.
He is a late game suiter so if you want a fast story yes its hard to woo him since all his loves are gotten way second year at earliest but if you like a slow deep love story build up he's perfect

I just married with Elliott in the game yesterday and saw this today! The weeding is on early Fall of second year. In the first year, I was so focus on my farm and I only started to communicate more with everyone during second year, Elliott is in my right timing I guess 😆 After we moved in tgt, he helps me water the plants and makes coffee for me, he's perfect ❤️

I’ve never seen the farm/valley portrayed like this, it’s really pretty
this honestly made me cry. as a kid (and teenager) my family's had to move around a lot and i've never lived in the same place for more than four years. obviously, this makes it hard to keep friends, so once we move away i usually never hear from them again. i always wished that i could have the experience of growing up in one spot, having a place so familiar that you could leave for ten years and it would still feel like home. on top of all that, my little sister was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and it just felt like everything was falling apart. its probably the lowest i've ever been and the only time where i really considered unaliving myself just to escape it. Stardew valley has been one of the few constants in my life. its very comforting to know that no matter how much time passes, or how long i go without playing, Abigail will still be eating rocks and Demetrius will still be a jerk. every time one of the villagers says something nice to me, or is grateful for a request i completed, it makes me feel warm inside. it feels silly that a little farming RPG game has made such a huge difference in my life, but it really has. and this animation really helped bring it all to life, and it's very beautifully done! thank you

I love Elliot. He’s mature & emotionally responsible. He’s in the same boat as you - you both came to Stardew chasing your dreams and your both somewhat outsiders there. Elliot can’t be bothered with the superficial layer of society. He’s honed in on his dreams 100% - and it’s attractive.
Other characters like Alex, Sam, Shane, and Clint all have growing up to do. In a way they’re all too focused on themselves and their status in the context of society. They have ego issues. Not in terms of being cocky but in terms of being too self-absorbed and not outwardly, objectively focused.
Elliot is clearly a Buddhism kind of guy.

@@daqtheduck6296 I've only married Sebastian in the game but a lot of the bachelors/bachelorettes get more of a personality when you increase their friendship with you. For Sebastian you start to learn he feels second fiddle to his half-sister, Maru, and wants to leave the valley to go into the big city which is the exact opposite of our character at the beginning of the game. If you do marry him he does say he will quit smoking and he does. you'll mostly see him either working on his motorcycle or working on his computer.

I am between Shane and Elliot. Shane is so in pain and when you dating him he will be nice person and stop drinking. If you break up with him he says ‘I should have known it’ it makes me super sad🥺 when I marry Shane in the morning he says ‘I can’t believe you love me how’ etc. But also Elliot is so nice and chasing his dreams even though nobody supports and believes him. The moment he finished his book and read everyone is so emotional for me🥺

I love saving Shane too, for the record. His storyline is definitely the best. I love how much my character can relate to Elliot though - they’re both outsiders chasing their dreams. Sebastian relates to who I really am as a person. Grandma Evelyn even reminds me of my own grandma.

Firstly, just how you have captured the town is just amazing, it's so life like a d it gives so much dimension to the art of the game!!! And Elliott, he looks so kind and just cosy!!! And the farmer is the cutest, especially the hair!! But my favourite part has to be how when Elliot is sitting on the bench near Willie's house and it's his side profile and the song says 'me' he closes his eyes!!! Just beautiful and outstanding, even the feelings coming through just the song (which is beautiful as well) and the characters no dialogue

Honestly, i love Elliott so much. Its dumb, but it felt like slowly falling in love. In the beginning of the game i would always fish to get some money, so i would interact him him more and more. Fish next to him, watch him in the beach as i foraged, i have really good memories and it felt all so natural. The video is amazing, and made me feel really warm inside, he deserves so much love

You literally made and envisioned what I've been playing for several hundreds of times in many files over and over again but can't picture clearly. I always choose Elliott and I always am a male in-game for some reason and idk why but after watching this, THIS IS WHY 😭. If I'm Isekai'd into SV this will be me watching at how dreamy Elliott makes my new farming life be. Calming and magical.
And part II aka up till the ending will be when we have a date at the cinema each new season, meets at the island at the beach after I work on the island farm for a bit, knowing he sometimes do the farm works I didn't manage to do yet and we exchanging gifts almost daily, and lastly have the mountain peak date to view the world together someday.
His corner of the room might not be complete and well organised but he's still a good helper at home and the farm, and he's a helpless romantic lol. What more can I ask for?

I think I needed this. Life's just been so frustrating for so long and I've been depressed for as long as I can remember. I started playing Stardew Valley over the Summer and I'm really enjoying it.
