    Awesome find, good job Sacha. Mehta is one of the greatest conductors of modern times, and that's no small feat. No wonder so many other greats were eager to work with him.

    Zubin Mehta is the most Dignified looking conductor on any podium. His stature is emmense

    Mehta gave this interview about 30 years after he had conducted Nilsson, Corelli and Freni in Turandot. About 25 years later (today) he is still conducting Turandot. This is the stuff of legend.

    What an interesting person and great conductor. It’s like he says, so much is unspoken between the conductor and the players yet so much is communicated. That is why I cannot get get into Karajan. He conducts with his eyes closed!

      He's only had 3 years to fix it.
