The videos on this channel and the content on the website really helped me to tackle investigation of my machine. I got an "E32 - Conductimetricsensing oscillation frequency too low" error code, which according to the Electrolux manual is an Electrical / Main Board fault. After finding no obvious wiring faults, I spent £160 on a new board but this didn't fix the fault. Whilst banging my head on the closed door in desperation I heard a microswitch clicking when I applied some pressure to the door. I investigated further and found that the little plastic tongue in the top of the door wasn't going far enough into the body of the machine to activate the switch. I found that extending the plastic tongue by about 2mm using a piece of tape fixed the problem!
@@reptilel Probably a bit later but for anyone reading this: Error 31 and 32 relate to the moisture sensor just inside the drum. Clean it with some vinegar (as it says to do in the user manual).
The E32 on my T86580IH is a dirty NTC sensor. Easy to unplug and clean and reinstall. Then you clear the error code. Job done. Remember to clean the whole machine anyway, also the heater and condenser. Just take it apart and undo the top lid. Use some mild detergent like Mucoff (pink), and spray lightly with water. Cover the compressor side with a couple of towels before spraying anything. Takes 3 hours max in total from start to reassembly done. Kind regards, Redfox.
How to clear error codes: 1: Go in service mode by turning on, then press the two most right side extra buttons at the same time for a few seconds. 2: Turn the dial to program 8. 3: read out the code, say E32. 4: again press the two right most extra buttons (as in going into service mode), at the same time, for a few seconds. 5: display no changes from your error code, to E00 - which means codes are cleared. 6: turn off and turn on machine. This will go in another test mode. 7: turn off directly, with out anything else. 8: next time you turn it on, it's normal operation. 9: if you re-enter testmode, and go to test program 8, you will see E00 - no errors. 10: job done. Takes ½ a minute. This works for several older AEG machines. like for example T86580IH and more. Kind regards, Redfox.

Hi Paul, from your video I was able to figure out either the float switch or the pump was not working, removed the pump and applied 240v, it turned so had a look at the float switch, I removed it and it all looked good so think it may have stuck down stopping the pump coming on. Cleaned out the reservoir put it back together and filled it with water as the machine was drying, it pumped the water out as the level got near the top. Hope it stays fixed. No, but it's very easy to do: 1: take off the top and the two sides. 2: take off the upper screws and a few lower down of the meatal back plate itself. Some have a plastic back plate. 3: on the right side, take off the spring that loads the belt. 4: take out the old belt, for example by cutting it. 5: this will loosen the back enough, so that pulling the back out a bit, you can sneak down a new belt, for example PH7 1971 on my T86580IH. 6: once you sneaked in a new belt, and because of loosening the back panel, you will not damage the support wheels and the big felt gasket for the drum, roll the new belt over the plastic pully and under the motor axle. 7: reinstall the spring and test machine. 8: the belt is good on apprx. half out on the motor axle, so place the belt accordingly around the drum. 10: job done. Takes ½ hour and belt is 15 euro for and original AEG. Kind regards, Redfox

When I run the pump it doesn't completely empty the reservoir at the back. When the water gets to a bout 1cm depth the pump doesn't seem capable of pumping it up. Is this normal or do I need a new pump?
I miss some information on how to change the drive-belt. Anyone here who have experience on how to change the trumble-belt? I have an Electrolux model EDH3478RDW.
You didn't cover the heat pump or thermal switches? I'm trying to diagnose a Bosch dryer that has lost heat. Can't work out which component provides the heat
We have an AEG LAVATHERM 86590IH3 dryer. (Type TC12H6BHP). After normal operation we found lots of water under the dryer, on the floor!!!! When I opened the filter door, there were lots of water in that area. I have started investigating the pump area at the back of the machine. I have determined with a digital multimeter that the resistance of the pump was about 750 ohm. In one of the videos the repairman mentioned that according to the service manual it should be about 750 ohm. So at this moment I assume that the pump is OK....... Next I will try to check the float sensor/switch which turns on/off the pump. Am I on the right path? Has anyone ever experienced this problem before? (I have not put the machine into diagnostics mode, yet).
I have similar problem. Pump is working and so is micro switch. In test mode i can empty the reservoir where the pump is pumping water from. But the water flow between the water filter in front and the reservoir in the back seems to be blocked so water flows too slow for the pump to be able to work effectively. I think the passages needs to be rinsed but am currently unsure how to proceed.
I have the same problem, water isn't going from the heat pump area at the front to the pump area at the back. Pump system works fine, but there seems to be a blockage between the front and the pump assembly. Did you have any luck with finding a solution.
@@jenskluwer-ulrich5875 I have the same problem. Water build up at the front of the machine, and not going to the back where the pump is. The pump works fine if I pour water into that area, but water doesn't get there. Not sure how to fix this problem.

I have cleaned the bottom matrix which was pretty clogged. I put it in test mode and the individual functions appeared to work. At C9 it shows an E32 error code. I see what that is in your list of error codes, but do not know if that is something that may be fixed by me or would require a service engineer?
John Lewis heat pump tumble dryers are usually manufactured by the Electrolux group without the full model number. I am unable to point you in any direction, but if you contact us through the website I would be happy to try and assist you
Excellent video thank you. What about error E73, any suggestion?
Iam Glad we could help you.

If you can have a humming noise, then there's a good chance, it may be the capacitor @user-ts5ds7td1f please remember to subscribe to our channel as that really helps us th-cam.com/users/shortse432SAb2g08 Thanks, Paul 👍

When I run the pump it doesn't completely empty the reservoir at the back. When the water gets to a bout 1cm depth the pump doesn't seem capable of pumping it up. Is this normal or do I need a new pump?
Hello I have the AEG and the error code is EH0! ! ! HELP! ! ! ! THANKS
I miss some information on how to change the drive-belt.
Anyone here who have experience on how to change the trumble-belt?
I have an Electrolux model EDH3478RDW.
you need to take off drum
my tumble dryer doesnt show anything on displey
You didn't cover the heat pump or thermal switches? I'm trying to diagnose a Bosch dryer that has lost heat. Can't work out which component provides the heat
The compressor itself. The first radiator is the condenser and second one the evaporator. This one gets hot and warm the air, about 45-50 degrees
My electrolux dryer died board after 5 years. Rust all around, realy poor quality.
Andrew Szekely I’ve got same issue
To Andrew Szekely and Jens Klüwer-Ulrich
I have the same problem. Did you find the solution for this problem?
I have the same problem, water isn't going from the heat pump area at the front to the pump area at the back. Pump system works fine, but there seems to be a blockage between the front and the pump assembly. Did you have any luck with finding a solution.
@@jenskluwer-ulrich5875 I have the same problem. Water build up at the front of the machine, and not going to the back where the pump is. The pump works fine if I pour water into that area, but water doesn't get there. Not sure how to fix this problem.
