It is important to note that Surah 2:256, (there is no compulsion in Islam) was abrogated when Mahomet called to fight the people of the Book. (Surah 9:29). This is noted in the Islamic sources and Tasfir. We need to be aware that many of the so-called peaceful (Meccan) verses were later abrogated by more violent and confrontational verses (Medinan).

The Muslim is sadly unable to face the truth of his own faith. His comments regarding the Christians and other faith traditions being "preserved" fails to share that those groups were preserved through a system of "tribute" they were required to pay for their "preservation". The tribute was nothing more than a system of bribery and extortion like the "insurance" payments collected by the Mafia in some of America' largest cities. Rather than acknowledging what was put in front of him, he chose to recite the historical failings of other groups to divert attention from his own faith because he simply cannot stand the truth.

When it comes to the hijab, the veil, and for that matter, the burqa, it is irrelevant which people of the world started it. There have been veils worn by women for thousands of years. These things are borrowed and become a tradition in certain religions. Symbolic fasting does not originate in Islam but it has become a part of Islamic culture in Ramadan.

I suppose that the 50 Muslim countries were mainly converted by missionaries carrying hand puppets in their rucksack alongside with the scriptures. They got the idea from their holy books. It reminds me of Tom Lehrer and his song The Folksong Army. They all just converted people by preaching and entertaining converts. And there are minority religions in their countries like the Coptic Christians in Egypt. The slaves survived in many Christian states, but no one praises these countries for this accomplishment.
With the Bible, you have to invent stuff to make it sound violent and misogynist. With the Quran, you have to invent stuff to make it sound NON violent. Violence, supremacy, death, all those things are an inherent part of their scripture and it can't be separated from the actions of Muslims. Just the fact that you can't leave Islam without being threatened with death pretty well says it all. Even the most luxurious prison is still a prison.
The Muslim man makes some good points. But he is not using statistics but rather individual examples to create the impression of moral equivalence. Bill Warner uses statistics on Islam to characterize the religion in overall terms. And it is just as easy to argue for moral differences too. The current case of Oct 7 and the brutal attack on Israel and its civilians by Hamas tends to suggest moral differences are important. And perhaps we should see that the Nazis were not committing the Holocaust because of religious conviction, as they rejected Christianity. But the jihadis today quote their scriptures to just if their atrocities. In short the Muslim man is more an apologist than a scholar objectively summarizing the character of Islam as a movement in the world across time.
Mr Prager correctly identifies the obstacle within Islam that prevents reformation. He then opines that Islam can change and that, if it does it will be to through the efforts of American Muslims. Unfortunately Prager does not identify why Islam is entirely incapable of reformation. Here's why: Muhammad repeatedly insisted that he was NOT the author of the Qur'an. He declared that Allah was the Quran's author and that he had only taken dictation. That this was accomplished in a series of visits by the archangel Gabriel, who transmitted to Muhammad, Allah's words to be written down. In support of this claim, Muhammad declared that he was then and was now, illiterate and that Allah had miraculously enabled him to write down his words. Therein lies the immovable obstacle, fallible mankind is literally incapable of revising infallible Allah's words. So to revise the Qur'an implicitly requires that Muhammad's claim that Allah is the author of the Qur'an be rejected. In which case, Muhammad was either a liar or delusional. In either case, Islam's theological foundations utterly collapse.

We've got very modern attitudes but we're generally very socially Conservative as well as against the general notion of evil, which we must ban, and good, we must mandate. It's true that these things should be enacted on by a consular government, a form of government as effective and moral as democracy, and much more in line with modern Muslim thought (which is based on the idea of shura, but in a religiously neutral way). I don't call myself a Muslim since Muslims have lots of requirements for who is and is not Muslim. And if they are going to comment on Muslim history then at least, for God's sake, read from trusted sources, and bring your sources for the claims you make. About apostasy (because I didn't see Salam addressing this point), NO-WHERE in the quran there's talk about punishment for apostasy. The source for the Muslims (not all of us) that say that the punishment for apostasy is death comes from a narration (NOT a verse from the quran) about a person that basically committed treason (which btw in the US is punishable by death) and used religion simply to gather intel and then left Islam to share the gathered intel with the pagans in order to fight and exterminate the Muslims. That's the context in which that punishment was prescribed. Are there Muslims nowadays that believe that, in theory, this is the punishment for anyone leaving Islam? Honestly yes. Do they believe in applying it nowadays? NO. Maximum, and I'm talking about the more extreme opinion, they would tell you to simply keep it to yourself and not to advertise it.

The notion that Israel is defending itself is as absurd as the notion that a rapist is defending himself from the victim, because Israel is the occupier. The middle east problem.....In a nutshell, it’s this: One side has been enduring displacement and occupation. The Palestinians, descendants of the ancient Canaanites, aspire to live in their own homeland, free of occupation and with rights equal to any other nation. They recognize the Jewish history in the land but assert their own millennia-long connection to Palestine. The tragedy is that many, including some in Israel, do not recognize the rights of the Palestinians to self-determination in their own state. This has been true since 1947 when the United Nations voted to divide the land called Palestine into a Jewish state and an Arab state. While it is often mentioned that Arabs rejected this plan, the complexities of why are seldom discussed. For the Palestinians, this plan was seen as partitioning a land where the majority were Arab, without their true consent. In 1948, as Israel was established, approximately 700,000 Palestinians were displaced from their homes, creating a refugee crisis that persists to this day. Known as the Nakba or "catastrophe", it is a sorrowful event for Palestinians, marking loss and dispossession. Years later, in 1967, Israel expanded its borders, occupying territories including the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem. These areas are considered by international law as occupied territories. Yet, settlements, considered illegal under international law, have continued to grow, taking more land from Palestinians. When Palestinians resisted occupation, their uprisings were met with force. When they sought diplomacy, the path to statehood remained elusive. And when they tried to tell their story to the world, they often faced deaf ears. For decades, Palestinians have seen their land shrink, their rights curtailed, and their call for justice muted. They have repeatedly asked for the end of the occupation, the right of return for refugees, and a capital in East Jerusalem. Consider the reality of life in Gaza. The blockade has resulted in a humanitarian crisis, with limited access to basic necessities, medical supplies, and opportunities. Yet the spirit of the Palestinians remains unbroken, their culture vibrant, and their aspirations clear. Think about these questions: If Palestinians were given their full rights and statehood tomorrow, would they still have grievances? And if Israel recognized the Palestinian right to a state and ended the occupation, what would happen? In the first case, a long-standing injustice would be addressed. In the second, a significant step towards peace would be made. Remember this: The land known as Palestine has been home to diverse civilizations and peoples for thousands of years, including the Canaanites from whom many Palestinians trace their lineage. Palestinians have a deep-rooted history in this land, and their aspiration for a state is a quest for justice and recognition. That's the issue: Why can't the Palestinian people, with their rich history and contributions to civilization, have their own state and live with dignity and peace?
Denis reading of history is from a purely Jewish and western view. You can tell from his opinions and ignorance. What is the history of Christianity and also Judaism. Did not David and Moses fight wars. He cherry picks history's events to suit his ignorant and bigoted views of Islam and muslims. He is a complete and utter waste of time. He tries to connect with the audience by conflating Judaism and Christianity. Please Denis, these two religions are poles apart. First of all Jews do not believe in Christ in any way whatsoever Islam and the early Muslims largely fought defensive and existential wars. Those times there was no diplomacy. In the crusades when the Christians took over they literally would kill everyone. Spain is proof of how intolerant Christians were. And most recently Germany is proof of how Jews and minorities were dealt with. The tolerance of Christians especially in Europe only recently has improved. Otherwise, Denis needs to get his head checked. In the US, the natives have largely been exterminated along with their culture. The blacks only got equal rights 6 years ago.

Thank you
Each time, I hear about sharia
its always made sound its cool
Its not true
With the Bible, you have to invent stuff to make it sound violent and misogynist. With the Quran, you have to invent stuff to make it sound NON violent.
Violence, supremacy, death, all those things are an inherent part of their scripture and it can't be separated from the actions of Muslims. Just the fact that you can't leave Islam without being threatened with death pretty well says it all. Even the most luxurious prison is still a prison.
So true!
There is one way to God in Christianity which is through Jesus Christ. No other ways.
Amen

23:00 Exactly, the comments are so hilarious. It’s like they aren’t watching the video at all
50:20 so far the Muslim speaker sounds more American than this whole comment section 😂 freedom of religion
1:00:00 not sure if even 80% of Americans know this
1:10:00 not one thing he said wasn’t peaceful. He’s more American than this whole comment section
1:20:00 nothing she said wasn’t true. It’s the whole point of Islam. Islam is a peaceful religion. Go against corrupted people not religion
Watched the whole video and I don’t understand how people can be against Islam before and after watching this. Every religion has a form of extremism and terrible interpretations and corruption. Very sad to see so many people against religions itself and group everyone into a box
Is there compulsion in Islam?: Yes (apostasy, etc)
Is there freedom of speech in Islam?: No (blasphemy laws, etc)
Is everyone equal under the law in Islam?: No (dhimmitude, jizya, etc)
Is there an open edict to wage war against non-Muslims: Yes. (jihad)
These are the reasons why people are against Islam - it has nothing to do with the behavior of individuals, it has to do with the core ideology of Islam.
I WISH the man on left would call Christian Prince...
Wow he's practicing hard core taqiyya.
taqiyyah, in Islam, the practice of concealing one's belief and foregoing ordinary religious duties when under threat of death or injury. Derived from the Arabic word waqa (“to shield oneself”), taqiyyah defies easy translation.
What part is he using 😂 he isn’t cause you don’t know what it is

Dennis right way is not for us all become vegetarians in the distant future. Right way is to turn away from the SAD= standard American diet. Go back to the diet of our ancestors when we were hunter-gatherer Lots of vegetables and some meat Intermittent fasting as that's the way we ate as hunter-gatherers and that's healthy for your biology. In other words yes meat with much vegetables no processed foods except this an the occasional snack.
BUT I don't know how you started equating eating turning it into a religion. Yes some people turn feeding into a religion = Vegan diet, carnivore diet.
He sees common ground between Islam and secularism.
Dennis is right, it's utterly pointless to even talk to this guy.
Arab Supremacy is in full force.
@@tomlee2065 the beautiful thing thing about Islam is that Allah swt never chose the Arabs to be the Chosen people, or the Jews or any people because of their race. What is your racist views of Arabs?
There are secular muslim countries.
Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not only to those who are good and equitable but also to those who are perverse." (1 Peter 2:18). @@tomlee2065 how 😂😂 guaranteed you didn’t watch the video
There are too many Islamists here. I do not wish my grandchildren to live under sharia , I don't wish anyone to have to live under sharia, which is so cruel to young children and women.
How
Only ONE WAY,to the kingdom of God, to be born AGAIN by the Spirit. I'm thankful that the spirit of God who Jesus gives freeze us from all of this humanism and simply being a human who is trying to use some form of Dogma to please God. Anyone who wants to know about Islam needs to go back to the original story of Muhammad and they will learn that it was actually a cult priestess who wrote the scriptures that he used to gather his band of warriors and begin to dominate the Arabian peninsula. Islam doesn't have anything to do with pleasing God it has to do with dominating other people.
22:27 thats exactly because America is founded on Judea Christian values lol
Colossal waste of time. It will never happen.
Sabine Hammer yeah and Dennis is aware of that, matter of fact, he basically says it. However, people are watching this video... I watched the whole thing, I’m trying to understand (Agree?) with the man on the left (of the screen LOL) but most of what I hear coming out of him doesn’t answer the foundational questions asked of him. I don’t think he feels he’s lying, but I also think he is evading... So a “waste of time”... hmmmm yeah I don’t know, really!

I would be careful to buy into numerals being Arabic. Do some research, easy peasy.

Taqyia, there are several jihads..this muslim is not telling the truth. Bring Robert Spencer, Raymond Ibrahim to discuss the truth about islam.
There are several types of Jihad though.
The most referred to one is warfare one and usually it is the one referred to the most when talking about Jihad.
I have no idea who raymond ibrahim is, bur I know robert spencer, he is an utter idiot, mixes truth with lies and is a conspiracy theorist, taqqiya is a thing mostly used by shia.
Taqqiya as for muslims "sunni" is hiding religion and pretending to not be muslim for safety reasons.
When you hear something against what you always hear about Islam from a Muslim the answer isn't always taqqiya it might actually be a lie for whatever reason as you claim it may be actually true and you're just fixated on some wrong delusion that this thing is like that in Islam while it isn't or it might be that the person you're talking to is a heretic and doesn't believe in certain aspects in Islam.
Like for example some people deny Sharia and that is apostasy from Islam but they still claim to be muslim and may tell you that Islam means peace and love and flowers and rainbows and doesn't have war, he lied about Islam but it's cause he's a heretic infidel and didn't lie cause he is hiding something from you he did cause he believed what he said.
First really see what is happening in India without your Muslim Eyes. Indian State in Itself is a Hinduphobic state.
See the treatment of Hindus and Muslims. There's no genocide of Muslims in India Instead Kashmiri Hindus are the ones facing Genocide.
Nobody in this whole universe can say that Hindus are the most intolerant.
We respect everyone good and expect reciprocity.
I love how Denis has issues with Muslim extremists and conflating it with Islam itself. I hope he does the same with extremist Jews and Judaism. I suspect he doesn't. Islam is not a religion. We say it is a way of life. Sharia Law is G-ds law. We as humans cannot speak on G-ds behalf. How about Israel and its actions? Will Denis critique Israel in that way.
Introductions are like nails on a chalkboard.
When Jesus Christ returns to take up the crown of David from Jerusalem the Arab world will acknowledge Him as the Messiah. Islam will collapse as the false religion it is. It is Catholicism that will stand up against the Christ. Already RC teach that the ‘One’ building the Temple in Jerusalem is the ‘Anti-Christ, it is they who will not recognise their Messiah. They know not their Bible (as they don’t read it) or, prophecy.

Pure taqiyya mr Marayati.
Or delusional wishful thinking.
Guy on the left is very disingenuous
🤣😂
Please be objective Denis. Don't live in your Utopian world where only Muslims have committed violence. Peace unto all G-d fearing people
Blah, blah, blah, blah.
