Yess! Cameras are allowed but you just have to make sure that you don’t disturb lamas with your flash lights.

Just one update if you can add the cost of the travel and the hotel cost and how was your genuine experience with each hotel or aashram and how much you recommend to everyone and now in pandamic how was everything over thir and what all precautions that you need to travel and stay there. What is the Thikshey morning prayer starting time?
Around 6am in the morning. But try to reach there by 5:45 am at least. It will be amazing experience for you. 😃
