Just checked the steering links and everything on a new outcast exb at my local hobby shop and it was all tight and seemed really good. Seems like you got a bad batch brother 😠
Hey Earl how hard was that fan to fit on the esc? I took a hard hit on mine and not only did the fan blow up but the shroud that holds the fan on the esc is busted up good.
Bolt in place of the old fan you can screw into the heat sink on top the esc if the plastic gone ask gcrc for the screws he has the size to screw right into the heat sink no need to tap it just screw it down on top 👍👍👍
so much limitation is baked in to the spektrum ESC and even their transmitter firmware.. i have 6 or 9 models of spektrum radios. The ESC firmware prevents running 4S on their 3S BLX systems but they're easily capable of handling an extra cell worth of voltage.

The center motor shaft has to be replaced with the coil winding as well
