Hiya Daisy from across the pond 😊 have just discovered junk journaling and now I’ve found your channel I’m all ready to try my own 😱 great tutorial, thankyou for making everything so easy to understand and your Etsy downloads are gorgeous, will definitely be purchasing a lot of those! And your kitty is a sweetie 😍🐱I’m now off to buy myself some cereal 😃 have a great day. Big hugs from Cornwall in the UK. 🌻🌞 x
At last - a journal cover method that doesn't require heavy chipboard, which can be difficult to cut and impossible to fold. Building up layers of cardstock, which can be cut and folded with ordinary hand tools and moderate hand strength - genius!
I'm definitely going to reference this video when I make a cover from scratch. Anbu is gorgeous. I have 5 cats and 2 are black males. There's something different and special about their personality. I just found your channel today and realised I was favouriting items in your Etsy shop recently! The app has some issues when combining purchases (in Australia anyway), but when I'm on my computer next I'm buying some of your printables.
Love the way you teach Daisy...wonderful, clear tutorial! Do you have a basic tutorial where you show how to include more than one signature? I have a cover already made with a wider spine so one signature wouldn't work for the journal I'm working on. Thank you!
Lovely presentation, Dear! Could you tell/show us what glue you use, and how you apply it? The cover is so nice and smooth! I know that some glue really makes the "paper" wrinkle. Such helpful info here. Thank you! Peggy (Oops! Watch to the end, and you'll see!)
new subscriber, thanks so much for doing these tutorials, i have been loving the seeing all the beautiful junk jounals people make and super inspired to make my own so thank you again for making process video's like this 😊😊
thank you so much for your tutorial! what is your process for gluing down the cardstock to the cover? Yours looks so smooth. Do you use a paint brush to apply the glue or do you just squirt it out of a bottle?
Love your tutorials, I got such a kick out of using your "boning knife" instead of bone folder.....you really do not want to use a boning knife! LOL Sandy
Thanks Daisy, gosh how come i never figured out to cut those boxes down,SMH,lol... I've always done it the way you used to, just made the whole book by the size of the spine, lol... Great job, can't wait for the next video! Hugs ~ L
@@kimw4324 about 10-12 pages folded in half, if you're going to use bulky decorations/ pockets. You can go up tho 15 if you're not going to stuff the pages.

No... I do mine a little different...I use two pieces of card stock, butt them together and tape, place on the middle of the spine. I think eliminating the over lap bulk. Sorry.no problem...different approach.👍🏻😊
This is my kind of tutorial! No bunch of BS just straight to the point and all materials prepped and ready to keep the steps moving.

Lolll hey Little bunny boiii!! Haha so cute! Sweet tutorial thanks Daisy!
What type of glue do you use to adhere the paper to the cover? Thank you.
I guess it's "Aleene's glue", because she used it later.
and I have a black cat that owns me, Dimy.
Instead of using sandpaper you can use gesso
How many pages do you recommend for this 1” spine?

Thanks so much💕
A question? Hablas español?
If your answer is yes, soy feliz porque mi inglés no es bueno y menos escribiéndolo 😁
