Granted, I'm still new to mics so haven't a lot of context for how the V7 performs relative to its peers, but wow that Lewitt sample was hilarious! Thanks too for doing the multiple distances thing, helps a lot for context with how much variability there seems to be in how people position handheld mics.
Did anybody test AKG D5lx ? . specs mention it includes "hum bucking" (or EMI rf rejection) coil. Does it sound the same as "standard" D5 ? thanks if anybody has any advice. I am thinking in buying, but cannot test in any local shop in advance. Also couldn't find any test in youtube related to this D5lx model I mention. salute everybody.
Ooo, the V7 did nicely with plosives 😮. They all did a little better when up to the lips, but realistically, I wouldn't ever use those like that.

Like others have said the v7 was amazing at handling plosives in comparison to the other mics featured in this video.
Amazingly, it sounded like some did worse than the sm57 😂
I need Please Bring Pizza Pronto shirts
They're all terrible with plosives haha, the SE V7 surprised me though!
