I don't want to sound like a dick, but they should use the time to patrol, what if someone just robbed a bank and they would be like 'Eh man, we got an officer who has covid to transport fuck that bank!' On the other side, it's really cool that the department did this to him as a welcome back thing but yeah. Maybe I'm just shocked by this because if it was in my country, nobody would care ahaha.
