Is it safe to say rental income on day an investment property (apartment) is the most important factor ?
Annual rental income/property price then minus any water bills and council fees ? What’s the ideal rate of % should we be looking at

Like buying a new car you lose 20-30% straight away as soon as you drive it off the lot

I’m a new subscriber, like your honesty and also your “no silver spoon” background like mine. There’s a new development opportunity in an area that is growing very quickly here in RSA but I am concerned the “meat” in the deal might be chewed off a bit. I want to build a portfolio of properties (only have 2 now). This new development does not have any transfer and duty fees attached. Not sure what to do.
