    There are so many examples of John Farnham that I’ve see you react to and I’ve enjoyed each and every one. You two are so entertaining and are soooo talented as the Wolf Hunterz, I’m blown away. Much love and respect.

    I've lost count of how many times I've watched this whole show on youtube. I can't get enough of it. Way back in 1992, I went to see this show twice, and both times, it was amazing. The whole cast were superb, and John astounded me with his performances both times. Vocally, he has no equal, and he can act, too. No one quite like our John in this world. I don't think the world will ever see his like again. Thank you for this great reaction. I love how much you appreciate our talented Aussie artists, especially Farnsey.

      @@AussieDebb Hi, Deb. I've been awol for a while. Lots of family dramas (ongoing). Thank God for John. His music has kept me sane. When everything gets too much, I always turn to John. How have you been keeping my friend?

    Jane here. Travis and Suzi replied back to my request, "This was next level". I consider this to still be the build up of Act 2.
    John Farnham can easily belt a high note from the start but wouldn’t do it for the sake of it. If that sense. For example, at the start of Gethsemane and The Last Supper, he started low and soft because that's following the storyline.
    It's cool to the chorus members individually. Especially 5:41 and 5:53. Also, I like John Farnham's facial expression here 5:46. Like, "Oh, no. It's starting to happen!"
    Coming up next - "Pilate and Christ" and "Herod's Song"

    I missed the concert but have the dvd. and im blown away every time I see any part of this concert. Especially John Farnham his performance of JC was so powerful. Special mentions also to Jon Stevens who also slayed it in this concert as did the whole cast.
    Definately worth watching it through feom start to finish. The next bit is full on.

    When John starts singing in JCS in each part, it is just like nothing else - they are all fantastic and that band - WOW - this I believe is the best rock opera version of it. ❤🎉😅 Thanks for a great reaction to the G.O.A.T. and the 1992 JCS cast ❤🎉😊

    I saw the original Jesus Christ Superstar when I was about 10 years old. This version is so much more full-on. 😳 🙆‍♀️

    • @selinacastelow2514
      @selinacastelow2514 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hi. "Full-on" in what way, out of curiosity? This is the only JCS I've seen in full, so I'm only familiar with the performance done in this way. But I would have thought, as this is a concert style, it would be "tame" compared to the theatrical productions.

    • @louisekindred0059
      @louisekindred0059 15 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      @selinacastelow2514 Hi, to be honest, I can't remember a lot. I saw it around 1972, I think. I remember it being more musical as in theatrics. It was my first production I had ever seen. To me personally, I thought more things were going on, on the stage with the cast, more singing.
      This version it seems like John is really intense about telling the story. More storytelling and dramatic. Makes you involved in the characters in this version. If I could explain it simply... it's like comparing the first version to The Sound of Music ( more softer )and this version to Phantom of the Opera ( very intense ). It's really hard to explain. Of course, don't forget I was very young and naive about big shows and productions back then. Others might totally disagree, and that's fine. Both are in keeping with the times. Everything in the 70's was more carefree. Today, drama seems to be the angle of social society. Maybe this is why it feels so much more confronting to me. 💁‍♀️ A different audience in a different time 🤔🙆‍♀️

      @selinacastelow2514 15 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      @louisekindred0059 thanks for that. I get what you mean now. I find it interesting how productions can still pretty much have the same storyline and lyrics, but they can be different from simply a musical instrument to a singer's voice or performance.

    • @louisekindred0059
      @louisekindred0059 14 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      @selinacastelow2514 Exactly, Selina, everyone has their own interpretation. We all see what we want to see, be it a musical or even a song. Some ppl it's words. Some ppl it's the music or an instrument.
      Others, it's a captivating moment that touches your heart. A "show" is literally... show me what you've got, and I'll enjoy it or hate it "my way," and yeah, being the somewhat fickled people we are 😂, our taste changes over time. What we hated years ago we might love now, just to confuse matters 😉🤗
